As of the census [1] of 2000, there were 292 people, 109 households, and 82 families residing in the township. The population density was 8.4 people per square mile (3.2/km2). There were 117 housing units at an average density of 3.4/sq mi (1.3/km2). The racial makeup of the township was 98.97% White, 0.34% from other races, and 0.68% from two or more races.
There were 109 households, out of which 36.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 73.4% were married couples living together, 0.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 23.9% were non-families. 20.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 4.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
