Hypsopygia flavamaculata is a species of snout moth in the genus Hypsopygia . [1] It was described by M. Shaffer, Ebbe Nielsen and Marianne Horak and is found in Australia. [2]

The wingspan is 16–23 mm. The adult moths fly from May to July, depending on the location. The supposed species H. aurotaenialis is included here pending further study.
