In the Heights is the soundtrack album to the 2021 American film In the Heights , based on the stage musical of the same name. The original tracks are written and composed by Lin-Manuel Miranda, who co-produced the track along with Alex Lacamoire, Bill Sherman and Greg Wells. [1] The soundtrack album was released by Atlantic Records and WaterTower Music on June 10, 2021, the same day as its U.S. release, [2] and peaked at number one on Billboard 's Soundtracks Chart. [3]
The track list was unveiled on April 21, 2021. [2] The title track was made available with the album's pre-order on April 23, 2021. [4] The song "96,000" was released via streaming on May 3, 2021. [5] The film contains one new song, "Home All Summer", which plays during the end credits and is the last track on the album. [2] "Piragua (Reprise)" is not listed in the tracklist as it is part of a post credits scene.

The Sapphires: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is a soundtrack album for the film The Sapphires (2012), released on 27 July 2012 by Sony Music Australia. It features the vocals of Jessica Mauboy, Jade MacRae, Lou Bennett, Juanita Tippens and Darren Percival, with Mauboy singing in ten of the sixteen songs. It was written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, with additional music and co-produced by Mark Mancina on its reprise. The song was performed in the film by American actress and singer Auliʻi Cravalho in her role as Moana. It was released along with the album on November 18, 2016. Canadian singer Alessia Cara also recorded the song for the Moana soundtrack. The song was nominated for Best Original Song at the 89th Academy Awards and Best Original Song at the 74th Golden Globe Awards but lost both to "City of Stars" from La La Land. It did, however, win the Grammy Award for Best Song Written for Visual Media at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards.

The soundtrack consisted of eleven songs (with reprise versions of two of the tracks) written and co-composed by Lin-Manuel Miranda and performed by the film's cast, with twelve instrumental tracks from the film's score composed by Alex Lacamoire, Miranda's longtime collaborator. The soundtrack was led by the single "Keep The Beat" released on July 22, 2021, and the album in its entirety was released on August 6, 2021 through Atlantic Records, coinciding with the film's release through Netflix. A separate album for Lacamoire's score was released on August 20.
