The Dodge Charger is a model of automobile marketed by Dodge in various forms over eight generations since 1966.
The initial design development for the PowerTech V6 and V8 engine family was done by American Motors Corporation (AMC) and debuted in 1998 with credit to Chrysler. This was the first new V8 engine for Chrysler since the 1960s. The companion V6 was basically the V8 with two fewer cylinders, another concept that originated at AMC before the company joined Chrysler. These new engines had nothing in common with the Chrysler A engine V8s, nor the Jeep 4.0 L "PowerTech" I6 engine.

Chrysler Detroit Axle Plant was a Chrysler automobile factory in Detroit, Michigan. The factory opened in 1917 and was purchased by Chrysler in 1928. It was expanded in 1956, 1964, 1966, 1969, 1998, 2000, and 2001. The factory closed in 2010. The plant has since been demolished. The property is now used to store new vehicles waiting to be shipped to dealerships.
Kokomo Transmission Plant is a Chrysler automotive factory in Kokomo, Indiana that manufactures propulsion transmissions. The 3.1 mil Sq Ft. factory opened in 1956 at 2401 S Reed Rd. The plant is not to be confused with Indiana Transmission, a separate plant also located in Kokomo.

It was established in a spin-off of Dodge in 2010 using the name of the Ram pickup line of trucks. Ram Trucks's logo was originally used as Dodge's logo. Ram 1500 "Classic" trucks will be made at the Warren Truck Plant in Warren, Michigan, United States, and at the Saltillo plant in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico, until their discontinuation after the 2024 model year. New series Ram 1500 pickups are made at Sterling Heights Assembly in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Since its inception, the brand has used the slogan "Guts. Glory. Ram."

The Stellantis Hurricane GME-T6 engine is a twin-turbocharged straight-six engine produced by Stellantis since November 2021 at their plant in Saltillo, Mexico, and announced publicly in March 2022. The engine is designed for longitudinal applications and will fit their current vehicles that have a V6 or V8. It debuted with two versions, one of standard output (SO) and one of high output (HO), both featuring a start-stop system but designed for more extensive electrification in the future. Despite having cylinder spacing and bore and stroke in common with the FCA Global Medium Engine, and valvetrain similarities, "less than 5% of content on the new Hurricane is shared with existing engines." The engine was developed at the Chrysler Headquarters and Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan, over the course of three years. Stellantis expects the Hurricane engine to be the main internal combustion power plant for future vehicles using the STLA Large and STLA Frame in the North American market and is offering its use to other automobile manufacturers. The manufacturer claims the engine is up to 15 percent more efficient than larger engines. The engine made its debut in the Jeep Grand Wagoneer in 2022. It will also be available on eighth-gen Dodge Charger and fifth-gen Ram 1500 vehicles beginning in the 2025 model year.
