Snow Lake is a town in Manitoba, Canada, located 685 km north of Winnipeg at the end of Provincial Road 392. The main industry is, and always has been, mining; currently with one mine producing Zinc, and another lithium. The official Town of Snow Lake is a very large, overwhelmingly rural area that is centered about the urban community of Snow Lake, which lies very near its geographical center. The Town is as large in area as a typical rural municipality in the more southern parts of Manitoba.

Today nothing remains of the community, but its original location on the historic Red Coat Trail was 8 km (4 mi) east of the Hamlet of Wrentham and about 24 km (14 mi) west of the Village of Foremost. The community was named by the Canadian Pacific Railway.

The Asessippi Ski Area is the largest ski resort in Manitoba. It is located on the Manitoba Escarpment and has a vertical drop of 120 metres (400 ft), the second largest in the province. It is approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) from Inglis, Manitoba, 30 kilometres (19 mi) south of the town of Roblin, and 20 kilometres (12 mi) north of the town of Russell. The resort is built into the side of the Shell River Valley, and is close to Asessippi Provincial Park.
