William Omar Landrón Rivera, better known by his stage name Don Omar, is a Puerto Rican reggaeton singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer and actor. On September 1, 2017, he announced that he would retire after a series of concerts at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in Puerto Rico, scheduled to be held on December 15, 16 and 17. He returned to music on April 20, 2019 with his song single "Ramayama" featuring Farruko.

Latin Rhythm Airplay is an airplay-only chart published weekly by Billboard that ranks the most popular songs being played on Hispanic rhythmic/hurban radio stations in the United States. The music typically heard on these stations include reggaeton, Hispanic R&B and hip hop, rhythmic pop/dance, and crossovers from English-language and/or bilingual acts. The chart was introduced the week of August 13, 2005, and came about as a result of radio stations tapping into the growing second and third generation Hispanic audience who wanted a Spanish-speaking or bilingual alternative to the formats that they felt would represent them. "Lo Que Pasó, Pasó" by Daddy Yankee was the first number-one song on the chart. With the issue dated January 8, 2011, the chart's methodology was change to reflect overall airplay of Latin rhythm music on Latin radio stations. Instead of ranking songs being played on Latin-rhythm stations, rankings are determined by the amount of airplay Latin rhythm songs receive on stations that play Latin music regardless of genre.

The album features appearances by RBD, Don Omar, Daddy Yankee, Héctor el Father, Tito El Bambino, Wisin & Yandel, Alexis & Fido, Zion, Magnate, Ñejo & Dalmata, Arcángel & De La Ghetto, and others. It also featured the work of 17-year-old producer Marco Masis, better known as Tainy.

Diva is the third studio album by Puerto Rican reggaetón recording artist Ivy Queen. Real is the fourth studio album by Puerto Rican reggaetón recording artist Ivy Queen, released on November 21, 2004, by Universal Music Latino. Initially to be Queen's debut full-length English-language studio album, it featured collaborations with hip hop and fellow reggaetón artists Hector El Father, Fat Joe, Getto & Gastam, La India, Gran Omar and Mickey Perfecto. The album was primarily produced by Rafi Mercenario, and included guest production by American producer Swizz Beatz, Puerto Rican producers Ecko, Noriega, Monserrate and DJ Nelson. Gente de Zona is a Cuban reggaeton duo made up of musicians Alexander Delgado (Hernandez) and Randy Malcom. In 2014, the duo gained success with the collaboration of Mario Proenza, who helped them record with Enrique Iglesias the song "Bailando". Luís Filipe Fraga Oliveira, better known by his stage name Lucenzo, is a Portuguese–French reggaeton recording artist and record producer. His parents emigrated to France, from Portugal. Lucenzo signed with the Universal Music record label. He is best known for his dance hit with rapper Big Ali, "Vem dançar Kuduro". Puerto Rican reggaeton artist Don Omar released a Spanish/Portuguese version of the song under the title "Danza Kuduro" with Lucenzo.

It features four singles: "Soledad", "Guaya Guaya", "Perdido En Tus Ojos" and "Te Recordaré Bailando". And songs ''Callejero", "En Lo Oscuro", Olvidar Que Somos Amigos", Dobla Rodilla", "Tirate Al Medio", " Bailando Bajo El Sol", "Sandunga". The songs themes includes dance, sex, love and human self-reflection. It was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award for Best Urban Music Album in the ceremony's 16th edition in 2015.
