The Last Don sold over 75,000 copies on its first 10 days of been released. Aventura is an American bachata group formed in The Bronx, New York. With the lineup always consisting of the members Romeo Santos, Henry Santos, Lenny Santos, and Max Santos, they are regarded as one of the most influential Latin groups of all time. All of the members are of Dominican descent, although Romeo is also half Puerto Rican on his mother's side. They were the first major bachata act to have originated in the United States instead of the Dominican Republic. The group was integral to the evolution of bachata music and are the pioneers of the modern bachata sound.
Ramón Luis Ayala Rodríguez, known professionally as Daddy Yankee, is a Puerto Rican rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor who rose to worldwide prominence in 2004 with the song "Gasolina". Dubbed the "King of Reggaeton", he is often cited as an influence by other Hispanic urban performers. He retired on December 3, 2023, after completing his final stage performance on his "La Meta" tour in Puerto Rico.
William Omar Landrón Rivera, known professionally as Don Omar, is a Puerto Rican rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor. He is also known as the "King of Reggaeton" by music critics and fans alike. The artist was recognized by Billboard and Rolling Stone as one reggaeton legend. He is often cited as an influence by other Hispanic urban performers.
Barrio Fino en Directo is the second live album by Puerto Rican rapper Daddy Yankee, released on December 13, 2005, by El Cartel Records and distributed by Interescope Records. The album is a live collection of songs from Daddy Yankee's previous album Barrio Fino recorded during his tour Barrio Fino World Tour at several locations including the United States, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. It was the first Daddy Yankee album to had a Parental Advisory sticker and first and only album to include a skit. It also includes a DVD featuring interviews, concerts and the making of the music videos. A re-release of the album, Tormenta Tropical, Vol. 1, was released on July 4, 2006. It includes all of the new recorded songs, and two of the live tracks from the album. The album differs from Barrio Fino en Directo because it does not include a DVD.
El Abayarde is the debut studio album by the Puerto Rican rapper Tego Calderón. It included the singles "Pa' Que Retozen", "Guasa Guasa" and "Al Natural". It was released in 2002 through White Lion Records selling over 50,000 copies its first week between Puerto Rico and some parts of the United States. It would eventually be internationally distributed by Sony BMG in 2003. The album sold 132,000 copies in the US and more than 350,000 copies worldwide. El Abayarde was nominated for a Lo Nuestro Award for Urban Album of the Year and Best Rap/Hip Hop Album in the 4th Latin Grammy Awards in 2003.
King of Kings is Don Omar's second studio album. It was released on May 23, 2006, three years after his debut studio album The Last Don. Produced by Eliel, the album spent 11 weeks at the top of Billboard Top Latin Albums in 2006. With claimed sales of more than 4.1 million copies it is Don Omar's best selling album and one of the best selling reggaeton albums of all time. To promote the album Omar embarked the King of Kings World Tour. The album also features guest appearances by Miri Ben-Ari, Juelz Santana, Mackie Ranks, Beenie Man and Zion.

Top of the Line is the debut solo album by Tito "El Bambino". It was released on March 21, 2006 by EMI Televisa Music. Top of The Line featured 20 songs, with collaboration from artists such as Daddy Yankee, Don Omar and Beenie Man. It featured quite a number of hits, such as "Caile", "Mia", "Tu Cintura", "Flow Natural" "Secreto", "Máximo", "Tuve Que Morir" and "Me da Miedo" among others. "Caile" was the first single and it peaked at number one in the Billboard Hot Latin charts. Nada Es Igual is the eleventh studio album by Mexican recording artist Luis Miguel. It was released by WEA Latina on 20 August 1996. The album has a musical style similar to his previous pop album Aries (1993) on which Miguel performs power ballads and R&B tunes. Recording took place at the Record Plant Studios in February 1996, with production handled by Miguel and his longtime associate Kiko Cibrian. Its songwriting was assisted by Cibrian, Rudy Pérez, and Alejandro Lerner. God's Project is the fourth studio album released by bachata group Aventura. It was released on April 26, 2005, by Premium Latin Music and distributed by Sony Music Latin. The album production was based on bachata with elements of rock, merengue and urban music such as R&B, exploring new sounds with reggaeton with an urban hip-hop Black American flavor. This combination of rhythms was classified by some critics as "neo-bachata". It features guest appearances by Judy Santos, Anthony Santos, Nina Sky and reggaeton artists Tego Calderon and Don Omar.

It is the sequel of Don Omar's first album, The Last Don, released in 2003, and includes twelve songs and includes the participation of reggaeton stars Wisin & Yandel, Daddy Yankee, Tego Calderón, Plan B, and Natti Natasha. Contrary of Don Omar's latest album, The Last Don II focuses on reggaeton, with exceptions including two hip hop tracks and one latin pop track. It features four singles: "Soledad", "Guaya Guaya", "Perdido En Tus Ojos" and "Te Recordaré Bailando". And songs ''Callejero", "En Lo Oscuro", Olvidar Que Somos Amigos", Dobla Rodilla", "Tirate Al Medio", " Bailando Bajo El Sol", "Sandunga". Dangerous is the third studio album by Puerto Rican reggaeton and pop artist Yandel, of the duo Wisin & Yandel, released worldwide on November 6, 2015 through Sony Music Latin. Contrary of his previous studio album, De Líder A Leyenda, Dangerous focuses mainly on reggaeton music, with some synthpop and electropop exceptions. It features reggaeton artists including Nicky Jam, Tego Calderón, Gadiel and De La Ghetto, as well as artists from other genres like Lil Jon, Pitbull, French Montana, Future, Shaggy and Alex Sensation. As of March 2016, the album includes only one single: "Encantadora", released on October, as well as a promotional electropop song titled "Somos Uno", released on September 18, 2015. It reached the top position on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart, surpassing 5,000 copies sold as of November 12, 2015. The album also reached the 10th position on Billboard's Best Latin Albums of 2015 ranking, being one of the two reggaeton albums that were chosen by the magazine's editors, the other one being The Last Don 2 by Don Omar, who reached the 9th position. Dangerous received a latin platinum certification in October 2016 by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for surpassing 60,000 copies sold in the United States.
