Inverclyde South West is one of the seven wards used to elect members of the Inverclyde Council. It elects three Councillors.
The ward includes the neighbouring coastal villages of Inverkip and Wemyss Bay on the Firth of Clyde, an elevated rural hinterland to the east (part of the Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park, including Loch Thom) and the south-western suburbs of Greenock (the Braeside, Branchton and Larkfield neighbourhoods). [2] In 2019, the ward had a population of 11,649. [3]

Coatbridge South is one of the twenty-one wards used to elect members of the North Lanarkshire Council. Covering neighbourhoods in the south-east of Coatbridge, it currently elects four councillors. A boundary review in 2017 caused the addition of an area between Langloan Street, the A725 and the A89, with a small increase in the electorate and an additional seat from the original three. The ward had a population of 16,889 in 2019.
Motherwell West is one of the twenty-one wards used to elect members of the North Lanarkshire Council. It elects three councillors and covers parts of Motherwell lying west of the Argyle Line and Cumbernauld line railways, including the Forgewood, Greenacres, Braedale and North Motherwell neighbourhoods, with a population of 14,256 in 2019; created in 2007, its boundaries remained unchanged in a 2017 national review.

Bishopbriggs South is one of the seven wards used to elect members of the East Dunbartonshire Council. Created in 2007, it elects three Councillors. As its name suggests, its territory consists of the southern part of the burgh of Bishopbriggs, bordering the city of Glasgow further south; following a 2017 boundary review, some streets in the west of the town were added from the Bishopbriggs North and Torrance ward, but the number of representatives did not change. In 2020, the ward had a population of 15,868.
Lenzie and Kirkintilloch South is one of the seven wards used to elect members of the East Dunbartonshire Council. It elects three Councillors. Its territory consists of the village of Lenzie including the modern development at Woodilee, plus the contiguous southern parts of Kirkintilloch. In 2020, the ward had a population of 13,475.
