James Kwanya Rege is a Kenyan politician and an engineer by profession. He belongs to the Orange Democratic Movement and was elected to represent the Karachuonyo Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya since the 2007 Kenyan parliamentary electionHe was also elected as the chairman of the Telecommunication and communications during this period. He was re-elected on a second term on the same party ticket during 4 March 2013 general elections. [1]

Noah Mahalang’ang’a Wekesa is a Kenyan politician. He was also elected to represent the Kisauni Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya during the 2007 Kenyan parliamentary election. On 4 March 2013, during the general election, Joho was elected as the first governor of Mombasa County. In 2017 General Elections Day in Kenya held on 8th, August, Joho retained his seat on an ODM ticket and he is still serving as the governor of Mombasa County, County 001. Despite significant politically engineered setbacks, Joho emerged triumphant by winning with 220 576 votes against his closest rival Suleiman Shahbal with 69 322 votes, Suleiman is a member of the Jubilee Party.

Before his term as governor of Kilifi, Amason was elected to represent the Magarini Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya during the 2007 Kenyan parliamentary election.

Mohamed Yusuf Haji Kenyan politician

Mohamed Yusuf Haji was a Kenyan politician. He was the Minister of Defence of Kenya from 2008 to 2013, and briefly served as its acting Minister of Internal Security and Provincial Affairs in 2012. He has served in the Senate of Kenya since 2013. He died on 15 February 2021.

A member of the Orange Democratic Movement, He was elected to represent the Wajir South Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya in the Kenyan 2002 parliamentary election. He was also elected to the senate of Kenya in 2013, representing Wajir county, and becoming deputy minority leader in the senate.

Justin Muturi Kenyan politician (born 1956)

Justin Bedan Njoka Muturi is the seventh Speaker of the National Assembly of Kenya, in office since 2013. He is the first Speaker to serve following the reestablishment of a bicameral Parliament, as mandated by the 2010 Constitution. On 28 March 2013, Muturi won the speakership after a second round of voting by Members of the National Assembly, beating former speaker Kenneth Marende by a 219–129 margin.

2017 Kenyan general election 2017 General Elections in Kenya

General elections were held in Kenya on 8 August 2017 to elect the President, members of the National Assembly and Senate. They coincided with the 2017 Kenyan local elections which elected Governors and representatives in the devolved governments.
