Jamie Morrison (born 30 June 1983) is a British musician, producer and writer from Scotland, best known as the drummer in Welsh band Stereophonics and 86TVs. [1] He is also known for his playing with Noisettes, [2] Drewford Alabama [3] and releasing music through his label Ninjas & Wolves under the name Pop Morrison. [4]

Biography

In 2012, Morrison joined Stereophonics, [5] following his departure from the Noisettes in 2010, [6] a band he had joined in 2003.

Morrison has produced music with songwriter and rapper Fem Fel. The pair collaborate under the name Ninjas & Wolves. Jamie has also produced Fyfe Dangerfield and many other artists under his 'Drewford Alabama' pseudonym. [7]

In July 2022, it was announced that Jamie had also been working in a new band called 86TVs, alongside former Maccabees members Hugo White, Felix White and Will White. This announcement was marked with 86TVs first live performance at Omera, London. [8] In 2023 they signed to Parlophone Records.

Loaded is the fourth studio album by American rock band The Velvet Underground, released in November 1970 by Atlantic Records subsidiary Cotillion. Philip Thornalley is an English songwriter-producer who has worked in the music industry since 1978. He is perhaps best known for co-writing the song "Torn" and the UK number one hits "Mama Do" and "Boys and Girls" for Pixie Lott. He also produced The Cure's 1982 album Pornography and was later their bass player for eighteen months, producing and performing the distinctive double bass line on their 1983 single "The Love Cats".
