Jesper Seier (born 21 September 1965) is a Danish sailor and Olympic champion.

He won a gold medal in the Soling class at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, together with Jesper Bank and Steen Secher. [1]

The Soling is an open keelboat that holds the World Sailing "International class" status. The class was used from the 1972 Olympics until the 2000 Olympics as "Open three-person keelboat". Jesper Bank is a Danish sailor and Olympic champion. He received a bronze medal in the Soling class at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul.

Henrik Blakskjær is a Danish sailor and Olympic champion. He won a gold medal in the Soling class at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, together with Jesper Bank and Thomas Jacobsen.

Steen Klaaborg Secher is a Danish sailor and Olympic champion.

Francisco Sánchez Luna, known as Kiko Sánchez is a Spanish sailor and Olympic champion. He won a gold medal in the 470 class at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, together with Jordi Calafat.

Jesper Pilegaard participated in the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona together with Hans Jorgen Riber in 470-sailing placing 19 out of 37 participants; he also participated in numerous European and World championships in sailing. He has been an international key account manager for Nordea as of September 2009 and Vice-Chairman of the Olympic Club of Denmark as of April 2017.

The Soling Competition at the 1992 Summer Olympics was held from 27 July to 4 August 1992 in Barcelona, Spain. The competition was for the first time in a combined format. First the competitors had to sail a series of six fleet races. Points were awarded for placement in each race. The best five out of six race scores counted for placement in the match race series. After the fleetraces the top 6 placed boats sailed a round-robin series of match races. After the round-robin the best four proceeded to the semi-finals. Here the boat placed 1st met the boat placed 4th and the boat placed 2nd met the boat placed 3rd in a best out of three series of match races. Finally the winners of the semi-finals met in the final best out of three match races. The losers of the semi-finals also met in a best out of three series of matches for the bronze medal.

The Star Competition at the 1992 Summer Olympics was held from 27 July to 4 August 1992, in Barcelona, Spain. Points were awarded for placement in each race. The best six out of seven race scores did count for the final placement.

Jesper Stålheim is a Swedish competitive sailor. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, in the men's Laser class where he finished in 16th place.
