As of the census [4] of 2010, there were 536 people, 211 households, and 160 families residing in the township. The population density was 25.3 people per square mile (9.8/km2). There were 282 housing units at an average density of 13.3/sq mi (5.2/km2). The racial makeup of the township was 97% White, 0.6% African American, 0.4% American Indian, 0.7% from other races, and 1.3% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3% of the population.
There were 211 households, out of which 31.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 61.6% were married couples living together, 9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.2% were non-families. 17.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
