Jillellamudi is a village in Guntur district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Bapatla mandal in Tenali revenue division. [2] Jillellamudi became popular because of spiritual leader Anasuya Devī also known as Jillellamudi Amma" / Viswajanani (meaning "mother of all"). [4]

Geography

Jillellamudi is situated to the north of the mandal headquarters, Bapatla, [5] at 15°59′N80°27′E / 15.983°N 80.450°E / 15.983; 80.450 . It is spread over an area of 246 ha (610 acres). [2]

Governance

Jillellamudi Gram Panchayat is the local self-government of the village. [1] It is divided into wards and each ward is represented by a ward member. [6]

Education

As per the school information report for the academic year 2018–19, the village has a total of 2 schools. These include one MPP and one private school. [7]
