Oregon Public Broadcasting (OPB) is the primary television, radio and digital public broadcasting network for most of the U.S. state of Oregon as well as southern Washington. OPB consists of five full-power television stations, dozens of VHF or UHF translators, and over 20 radio stations and frequencies. Broadcasts include local and regional programming as well as television programs from the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) and American Public Television (APT), and radio programs from National Public Radio (NPR), American Public Media (APM), Public Radio Exchange (PRX), and the BBC World Service, among other distributors. Its headquarters and television studios are located in Portland.
KKRZ is a commercial FM radio station in Portland, Oregon, known as Z100. It is owned by iHeartMedia and airs a Top 40 (CHR) radio format. The studios and offices are on SW 68th Parkway in Tigard. Z100 carries two syndicated shows on weekdays, "Johnjay and Rich" in morning drive time and Ryan Seacrest in middays. Local DJs are heard in the afternoon and evening.

KXL-FM is the flagship station for the nationally syndicated Lars Larson Show. KISN was an AM radio station licensed to Vancouver, Washington and broadcasting to Portland, Oregon. broadcasting on 910 kHz and licensed for 5,000 watts. The station began broadcasting in 1939 as KVAN, but after it changed formats to Top 40 and became KISN in 1959, KISN became not only the number one rated rock station in the market, but at times the most popular radio station in Portland. In 1976, the FCC revoked KISN's license and others owned by the Star Stations group due to a series of indiscretions involving connections to candidates for the United States Senate in Indiana and Oregon. The KISN call letters have been used several times for oldies radio stations in the Portland area, most recently by KISN-LP, a Low-power broadcasting station that has been on the air since 2014 with a format that recalls the original.
KQRZ-LP is a low-power radio station licensed to Hillsboro, Oregon, United States. The station is owned by the Oregon Amateur Radio Club, Inc. KQRZ-LP signed on the air July 22, 2012, on an initial frequency of 101.5 MHz. On July 11, 2013, at 8:00 PM, KQRZ-LP changed the transmit frequency to 100.7 MHz, although the license to cover that frequency was not issued by the Federal Communications Commission until September 4, 2013.
KQSO-LP, formerly licensed to operate on, was a low-power radio station licensed to Newberg, Oregon, United States. However, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) had issued a STA for the station to operate at 102.9 MHz due to the move-in of a commercial station (KWLZ-FM) licensed to West Linn, Oregon. The station signed on the air February 7, 2009, and was owned by the Western Oregon Radio Club, Inc. (WORC), an amateur radio organization.

The Star Stations was an American radio broadcasting company owned by Don W. Burden. At its end, Star Stations owned five radio stations in Omaha, Indianapolis, and Vancouver, Washington. These stations had their licenses not renewed by the Federal Communications Commission in the culmination of a years-long investigation into political influence scandals at several Star outlets; four of the five ceased broadcasting on September 2, 1976, while a fifth continued to operate without going silent through a transition to a new owner on a new license.
