Kamma Township is a township in Thayet District of Magway Region. The administrative seat of the township is Kamma. As of 2014, there are 75,195 residents in the township. [1]

Economy

Agriculture in legume, peanuts, rice and sesame are the main economic activities in the township. [2]

Magway Region is an administrative division in central Myanmar. It is the second largest of Myanmar's seven divisions, with an area of 44,820 km2. Chin State is a state in western Myanmar. The 36,019-square-kilometre (13,907 sq mi) Chin State is bordered by Sagaing Division and Magway Division to the east, Rakhine State to the south, Bangladesh to the south-west, and the Indian states of Mizoram to the west and Manipur to the north. The population of Chin state is about 478,801 in 2014 census. The capital of the state is Hakha. The state is a mountainous region with few transportation links. Chin State is sparsely populated and remains one of the least developed areas of the country. Chin State has the highest poverty rate of 73% as per the released figures from the first official survey. The official radio broadcasting dialect of Chin is Falam. In 1896, Mindat and Kanpetlet were placed under Pakokku Hill Tracts District of British Burma later emerged into Chin hills. Pakokku City in Magway Region, Myanmar

Pakokku is the largest city in the Magway Region of Myanmar. It is situated about 30 km north-east of Bagan on the Irrawaddy River. It is the administration seat of Pakokku Township, Pakokku District and Gangaw District. Pakokku Bridge is part of the India–Myanmar–Thailand Trilateral Highway and is the longest bridge in Myanmar. It is home of the Pakokku Airport.

Thayet is a capital city in Thayet District of Magway Region in central Myanmar. It is a port on the right (western) bank of the Irrawaddy River, across and just south of Allanmyo, between Pyay (Prome) and Magway. Thayet is the administrative seat of both Thayet District and Thayet Township. As of 2014, the population was 20,251 in the city proper.

Aunglan is the biggest city in Thayet District of the Magway Region of Myanmar. It is a port on the left (eastern) bank of the Irrawaddy, across and just north of Thayetmyo, between the cities of Pyay (Prome), Taungdwingyi (Prome) and Magway. It is the administrative seat for Aunglan Township. According to the 2014 census, the population was estimated as over 235,000. The rural population is over 182,000 and urban population is 52,865. 47.5% of total population is male and 52.5% is female. Aunglan was a new city formed moving from Myede. After the second Anglo-Burmese war, the south of Myede Township was annexed by the British and the north was ruled by the Myanmar King.

Mindat Township Township in Chin State, Myanmar

Mindat Township is a township located in Mindat District in the Chin State of Myanmar. The township is located between latitude 21.19 and 21.47, longitude 93.23 and 94.29. The third highest peak in Myanmar, Nat Ma Taung at 3,053 metres (10,016 ft), is visible from here, though it is within Kanpetlet township boundary. Mindat was a part of Pakokku Hill Tracts District.

It is located to the west of the Pegu Range in the foothills and on the plain of the Irrawaddy. Most of the township is east of the Irrawaddy, but about 20% of the township lies on the right (west) bank. The major town and administrative center is Sinbaungwe (Tantabin).
