Kanetisa is a monotypic butterfly genus from the subfamily Satyrinae in the family Nymphalidae. Its single species, Kanetisa digna, lives in India. Members have large bands across their wings. [1]

Digna Ochoa was a human rights lawyer in Mexico. During her career, Ochoa had represented some of Mexico's poorest constituents against government interests. On October 19, 2001, Ochoa was shot dead by unknown assailants at her office in Mexico City. Mexican state authorities initially declared her death a suicide, however amongst objections from human rights activists the investigation into her death was reopened in 2005. In 2021, Mexico admitted wrongdoing in the investigation of Ochoa's death.
