Karachi Expo Center is the convention center where Pakistani products are showcased internationally. The center consists of 6 halls. The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan also helps support the exhibitions at the center. [1]

IDEAS exhibition

Pakistani military arms and equipment exhibitions are held under the theme 'IDEAS' (International Defence Exhibition and Seminar). This is a four-day exhibition. [2] [3]

'My Karachi' exhibition

Since 2003, 'My Karachi' themed exhibitions are held annually at Expo Center Karachi where companies and traders of Karachi as well as foreign exhibitors market their products. This three-day long exhibition is organized annually by the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI). The products are showcased for around one million visitors. This will provide a platform for business-to-business and business-to-consumer meetings. Importance of this exhibition is emphasized as city of Karachi is considered the economic and financial hub of Pakistan. [1] [4]

'Dawn All About Lifestyle' exhibition

Another prominent exhibition theme at Expo Center Karachi is 'Dawn Lifestyle'. It is sponsored by Dawn Media Group since 2001. [5]

IT and Telecom Asia exhibition

Exhibition showcases IT and telecommunication technologies in 3-day exhibitions at Expo Center Karachi. [6]

Vaccination Centre - Karachi East

Expo Center Karachi was converted into a 24-hour vaccination centre for the people of Karachi during COVID-19 (2020-2021). [7]

Hyderabad Expo Center was established by now defunct City District Government Hyderabad (CDGH) by the Mayor of Hyderabad, Kunwar Naveed Jamil. The main aim of the Expo Center is to introduce agricultural and industrial production of Hyderabad District, Sindh in the International market.

The Defence Export Promotion Organization (DEPO) is an agency of the Government of Pakistan which is responsible for promoting Pakistan's defence industry. It operates under the Ministry of Defence Production. DEPO organizes the annual two year International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) conference, which takes places at the Karachi Expo Center in Karachi, Pakistan. As of May 2023, the Director General of DEPO is Major General Azhar Iqbal Abbasi, HI(M).

Coastal Command (COMCOAST) is a coastal defence and fortification command of the Pakistan Navy with duties to manage maritime and all creek coastal areas in the country. It is one of the seven component commands of the navy with offices in Karachi. It is tasked with conducting defensive measures for maintaining and operating ports, harbour, and ground-based air defence of the navy, in addition to providing logistics support to naval fleet, and the Maritime Security Agency (MSA) units, a coastal guard branch of the navy.
