The Karachi Dolphins was a limited overs cricket team based in Karachi which played in National One-day Championship and domestic Twenty20. The Dolphins' home ground was National Stadium in Karachi's north end. [1]
The Dolphins were considered one of the successful teams and had been runners-up on several occasions during the 2004/05, 2006/07, 2007/08, 2009/10, 2010/11, super 8 2011 and Super 8 2012 seasons. [2] [3]

The Rawalpindi Rams was a domestic Twenty20 and List A cricket team, based in Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan. The team was established in 2004–05 and its home ground was the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The Pakistan cricket team toured Australia for a 3-match Test series, a 5-match ODI series, and 1 Twenty20 International from 19 December 2009 to 5 February 2010.
Asad Shafiq is a Pakistani cricketer who played for Pakistan national cricket team between 2010 and 2020. As of the 2021/22 season, he plays for Sindh in domestic cricket.
The 2012 Faysal Bank Super Eight T20 Cup was the second season of the Faysal Bank Super Eight T20 Cup, a domestic Twenty20 cricket tournament organized by the Pakistan Cricket Board. The season began on 25 March 2012 and was held at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi. 15 matches were played during the tournament.
The Pakistan national cricket team toured New Zealand in January and February 1973 and played a three-match Test series against the New Zealand national cricket team. Pakistan won the series 1-0. The 2004–05 ABN-AMRO Twenty-20 Cup was the first edition of the ABN-AMRO Twenty-20 Cup, a domestic Twenty20 tournament in Pakistan sponsored by ABN AMRO. It was held from 25 to 30 April 2005 in Lahore. The Faisalabad Wolves won the tournament by defeating the Karachi Dolphins in the final. As the winners, the Faisalabad Wolves were invited to compete in the International 20:20 Club Championship in September 2005, which they won.
The 2005–06 ABN-AMRO Twenty-20 Cup was the second season of the ABN-AMRO Twenty-20 Cup in Pakistan, sponsored by ABN AMRO. It was held in Karachi from 24 February to 4 March 2006. This edition featured an expanded format, with an increase from 19 to 39 matches and from 11 to 13 teams; the new teams being the Islamabad Leopards and the Abbottabad Rhinos. The Sialkot Stallions won the tournament by defeating the defending champions the Faisalabad Wolves in the final.
The 2008–09 RBS Twenty-20 Cup was the fourth season of the RBS Twenty-20 Cup in Pakistan, sponsored by Royal Bank of Scotland. It was held in Lahore from 4 to 8 October 2008. The Sialkot Stallions won their third overall and consecutive title by defeating the Karachi Dolphins in the final. As the winners, the Stallions qualified for the 2008 Champions League Twenty20, which was later cancelled.
The 2009 RBS Twenty-20 Cup was the fifth season of the RBS Twenty-20 Cup in Pakistan, sponsored by RBS. It was held in Lahore from 25 to 29 May 2009. The Sialkot Stallions won their fourth overall and consecutive title by defeating the Lahore Lions in the final.
Port Qasim Authority cricket team was a first-class cricket team which plays in the domestic circuit of Pakistan. The team is sponsored by the Port Qasim Authority in Karachi. The team qualified for first-class cricket in May 2012, following success in the PCB Patron's Trophy tournament. Among the team's notable players is Mohammad Sami. The team is coached by former Pakistani cricketer, Rashid Latif.

Quetta Gladiators is a Pakistani professional Twenty20 cricket franchise that competes in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). They play most home games at the Gaddafi Stadium. The Gladiators won and became the champions in PSL 2019. The team is nominally based in Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan, Pakistan.
The player draft for the inaugural season of the Pakistan Super League was held at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on 21–22 December 2015. A total of 308 players and 30 coaches, including Pakistani and Foreigners were divided into 5 different categories Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver and Emerging. Each franchise had a salary-spending cap of $1.2 million, including the signing of players, coaches and support staff. There were five icon players and each team was allowed to pick one icon and six foreigners in a 20-man squad.

Pakistan Super League (PSL) is the highest level of domestic Twenty20 cricket in Pakistan. The league is owned by the Pakistan Cricket Board and its first season was played in 2016. The league, when it started, included five teams: Karachi Kings, Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi, Islamabad United, and Lahore Qalandars. The third season of the league in 2018 saw the inclusion of Multan Sultans as the sixth team to compete in the tournament. The league has been organized every year since its first season and all the teams have won the trophy at least once. The first season of the PSL was won by Islamabad United, who were captained by Misbah ul Haq, who was also the captain of the Pakistan national cricket team at that time. Lahore Qalandars are the current champions of the PSL.
