The Quaid-e-Azam Trophy is a domestic first-class cricket competition in Pakistan. With few exceptions, it has been staged annually since it was first played during the 1953–54 season. Domestic cricket in Pakistan has undergone many reorganisations, with the number of teams and matches in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy changing regularly. It has been variously contested by associations or departments, or a combination of the two. Since 2019 it has been contested by regional teams only.
Rawalpindi cricket team is a first-class cricket team that represents Rawalpindi, Punjab. The team's home ground is Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi. They participate in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. They were refounded in the 2023/24 season after a revamp of the domestic structure.

Sohail Khan, also known as Sohail Pathan, is a Pakistani cricketer. A right-arm fast bowler, he gained instant recognition during his debut first-class season in 2007 when he broke Fazal Mahmood's record for the best bowling figures by a Pakistani in a first-class match. Shortly afterwards he made his international debut, in an ODI against Zimbabwe. Khan was part of the team for 2015 Cricket World Cup.
Naved Arif Gondal is a Pakistani former cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman who bowls left-arm medium-fast. He played first-class cricket for Sussex in the English county championship. In 2014, the England and Wales Cricket Board banned Naved for life from all forms of cricket over match fixing.
Hyderabad is a first-class cricket team based in Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan. Their home ground is the Niaz Stadium. In first-class cricket they participate in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. For Twenty20 and List A cricket tournaments in the National T20 Cup and National One-day Championship they are known as the Hyderabad Hawks.

Shaiman Anwar Butt is a former cricketer who played for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team. A powerful right-handed top-order batsman, he made his debut for the United Arab Emirates national side in December 2010, having previously represented Sialkot and Servis Industries in Pakistani domestic tournaments. In March 2021, Shaiman was found guilty of corruption and banned from all cricket for eight years.
Sui Southern Gas Company were a first-class cricket team, sponsored by Sui Southern Gas Company, who played in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in Pakistan from 2007–08 to 2009–10, and from 2014–15 to 2018–19. In May 2019, Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan revamped the domestic cricket structure in Pakistan, excluding departmental teams in favour of regional sides, therefore ending the participation of the team. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) was criticised in removing departmental sides, with players voicing their concern to revive the teams.

He has represented the UAE at One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International levels. Arsalan Anwar is a Pakistani cricketer. He scored a century in his single Test innings for the Pakistani national under-19 side, played two first-class matches for Sialkot during the 2007–08 season, and later moved to Ireland where he played Twenty20 matches for Munster Reds.

The Federally Administered Tribal Areas cricket team (FATA) is a first-class cricket side represents Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) of Pakistan. They first competed domestic cricket in Pakistan in the 2015–16 season. FATA entered the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy through a qualifying round. In their first ever first-class match, they drew with Habib Bank Limited cricket team in the 2015–16 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. They won their first match in round 6 of the same edition of the tournament, when they defeated Rawalpindi by four wickets.
