Port Qasim Authority cricket team was a first-class cricket team which plays in the domestic circuit of Pakistan. The team is sponsored by the Port Qasim Authority in Karachi. [1] The team qualified for first-class cricket in May 2012, following success in the PCB Patron's Trophy (Grade II) tournament. Among the team's notable players is Mohammad Sami. The team is coached by former Pakistani cricketer, Rashid Latif. [2]

In 2012-13, Port Qasim Authority finished ninth out of 10 teams in the President's Trophy. [3] In 2013-14 they finished sixth out of 11 teams. [4] The captain in both seasons was Khalid Latif.

The highest score so far is by Umar Amin, who scored 281 against Habib Bank Limited in 2012-13. [5] The best bowling figures are 7 for 29 by G.A.Mustafa against National Bank of Pakistan in 2015-16. He took 12 for 83 in the match, which National Bank of Pakistan nevertheless won by two wickets. [6]

Pakistan Customs cricket team were a first-class cricket side of no fixed abode that played in domestic tournaments in Pakistan from 1972-73 to 2009-10, representing the Pakistan Customs service. They never won the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, but did win the Patron's Trophy once.

The 2015-16 season Tournament started on 26 October 2015. The Federally Administered Tribal Areas cricket team competed in the competition for the first time. Following the completion of the group stages, Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited, National Bank of Pakistan, Water and Power Department Authority, National Bank of Pakistan, United Bank Limited, Khan Research Laboratory, Sui Southern Gas Cooperation, Lahore White and Lahore Blues all qualified for the Super Eight portion of the competition.

The Federally Administered Tribal Areas cricket team (FATA) are a first-class cricket side who have competed in Pakistan domestic cricket since the 2015–16 season. FATA entered the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy through a qualifying round. In their first ever first-class match, they drew with Habib Bank Limited cricket team in the 2015–16 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. They won their first match in round 6 of the same edition of the tournament, when they defeated Rawalpindi by four wickets.

The 2017–18 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy was a first-class domestic cricket competition that took place in Pakistan from 26 September to 25 December 2017. Pakistan's former Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq was critical of the compressed schedule and the quality of the pitches saying "it takes time to prepare a good pitch for a game and nobody can make it in two days". Sixteen teams are competing, made up of the top eight regional teams and the top eight departmental teams. Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) were the defending champions.

The 2018–19 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy was a first-class domestic cricket competition that took place in Pakistan from 1 September to 8 December 2018. Following the conclusion of each match, the teams played each other in a List A fixture in the 2018–19 Quaid-e-Azam One Day Cup tournament. Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited were the defending champions.
