The 2012 Faysal Bank Super Eight T20 Cup was the second season of the Faysal Bank Super Eight T20 Cup, a domestic Twenty20 cricket tournament organized by the Pakistan Cricket Board. The season began on 25 March 2012 and was held at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi. [1] 15 matches were played during the tournament. [2]
Sialkot Stallions won the tournament after beating Karachi Dolphins in the final, and, therefore, qualified for the 2012 Champions League Twenty20.

Karachi Dolphins won the toss and elected to bat, and the decision seemed to have paid off when they powered past 60 in the Powerplay. Their batting was led by opener Khalid Latif, who carried his bat through the innings to finish with 81 off 59. The main support was provided by Shahzaib Hasan and Asad Shafiq, who scored 30 and 38, respectively. They made 167 for 8 in 20 overs. Raza Hasan's 4 wickets came for 33 runs.
Chasing 168, Sialkot Stallions lost Shakeel Ansar early but took control thereafter. Imran Nazir scored a rapid 41 (20 balls), before an unbroken stand of 119 at close to nine an over between Shoaib Malik (62) and Haris Sohail (55) sealed the game in the 19th over.
For the final, 20,000-odd people thronged the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, with its newly renovated stands. There were a further 15,000 fans outside the stadium, doing their best to catch glimpses of the action. [14] [15]

The Rawalpindi Rams was a domestic Twenty20 and List A cricket team, based in Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan. The team was established in 2004–2005 and its home ground was the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The National T20 Cup is a men's professional domestic Twenty20 cricket competition in Pakistan. Established in 2005, it is one of the world's oldest Twenty20 cricket leagues. It was the principal T20 competition in the country until 2016, when the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise tournament was introduced. Since 2019–20, the National T20 Cup has been contested by six regional teams, having previously been contested mainly by teams representing the various city, district and area cricket associations.
Lahore Lions was a Pakistani franchise cricket team representing the city of Lahore and was one of the 19 domestic teams. The team was established by Lahore Regional Cricket Association in 2004/05 in its home ground Lahore City Cricket Association Ground. Domestically, the team played in the Haier T20 Cup. The team won its first title in 2010 where they defeated Karachi Dolphins by 37 runs at their home ground, Gaddafi Stadium.
The 2009–10 RBS Twenty-20 Cup was the sixth edition of the domestic RBS Twenty-20 Cup in Pakistan, sponsored by the Royal Bank of Scotland. It was held from 28 February to 7 March 2010 at the National Stadium, Karachi. This edition had 13 competing teams divided into four groups. Sialkot Stallions successfully defended the title and won the tournament for the fifth consecutive time, defeating Faisalabad Wolves in the final by 5 wickets.
The 2010–11 Faysal Bank T20 Cup was the seventh season of the National T20 Cup in Pakistan, sponsored by Faysal Bank. This was one of the most closely fought tournaments in Pakistani Twenty20 cricket as the previous five tournaments had ended in victory for the Sialkot Stallions, this one saw the Stallions drop out in the first round. The Karachi Dolphins led by Shahid Afridi and Lahore Lions captained by Mohammad Yousuf competed in the final, which the Lahore Lions won by 37 runs. Abdul Razzaq was named man of the match for his valiant 78*.
The 2011 Faysal Bank Super Eight T20 Cup was the first season of the Faysal Bank Super Eight T20 Cup. The tournament was held from 24 June in Faisalabad, between the top eight teams from the 2010–11 Faysal Bank T20 Cup. The winners were awarded ₨ 2.5 million in prize money while the runners-up received ₨ 1 million. The Rawalpindi Rams won the tournament by defeating the Karachi Dolphins in the final in the Super Over.
The 2011–12 Faysal Bank T20 Cup was the eighth season of the Faysal Bank T20 Cup in Pakistan, sponsored by Faysal Bank. The season was to begin in the final week of September in Lahore but due to an outbreak of dengue fever, the tournament was shifted to Karachi. The winning team received ₨ 2.5 million as prize money, while the runners-up received ₨ 1 million.
The 2012–13 Faysal Bank T20 Cup was the ninth season of the Faysal Bank T20 Cup in Pakistan, which was held from 1 to 9 December 2012. The winning team received Rs 20 million as prize money while the runners-up received Rs 10 million. This was also the last edition of the tournament, which was replaced with the Pakistan Super League.
The 2004–05 ABN-AMRO Twenty-20 Cup was the first edition of the ABN-AMRO Twenty-20 Cup, a domestic Twenty20 tournament in Pakistan sponsored by ABN AMRO. It was held from 25 to 30 April 2005 in Lahore. The Faisalabad Wolves won the tournament by defeating the Karachi Dolphins in the final. As the winners, the Faisalabad Wolves were invited to compete in the International 20:20 Club Championship in September 2005, which they also won.
The 2005–06 ABN-AMRO Twenty-20 Cup was the second season of the ABN-AMRO Twenty-20 Cup in Pakistan, sponsored by ABN AMRO. It was held in Karachi from 24 February to 4 March 2006. This edition featured an expanded format, with an increase from 19 to 39 matches and from 11 to 13 teams; the new teams being the Islamabad Leopards and the Abbottabad Rhinos. The Sialkot Stallions won the tournament by defeating the defending champions the Faisalabad Wolves in the final.
The 2006–07 ABN-AMRO Twenty-20 Cup was the third season of the ABN AMRO Twenty-20 Cup in Pakistan, sponsored by ABN AMRO. It was held in Karachi from 21 to 26 December 2006. The tournament was reduced to a shorter format similar to the 2004–05 edition with 18 matches. The Sialkot Stallions successfully defended the title by defeating the Karachi Dolphins in the final.

The 2012–13 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy was one of two first-class domestic cricket competitions that were held in Pakistan during the 2012–13 season. It was the 55th edition of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, and was contested by fourteen teams representing regional cricket associations. It was preceded in the schedule by the President's Trophy, which was contested by ten departmental teams.

The 2013 Faysal Bank Super Eight T20 Cup was the third season of the Faysal Bank Super Eight T20 Cup. It was played from March 26to 31, 2013, at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. A total of 15 matches were played during the tournament.
The 2013–14 Faysal Bank T20 Cup was the tenth season of the Faysal Bank T20 Cup in Pakistan, sponsored by Faysal Bank. The tournament was held from 6 to 16 February 2014 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi; Diamond Ground, Islamabad; Marghazar Ground, Islamabad and National Ground, Islamabad. A total of 17 teams were divided into four groups, the most teams in the tournament's history. The highlight of this tournament was the inclusion for the first time of three new teams: FATA Cheetahs, Dera Murad Jamali Ibexes and Larkana Bulls. Broadcasting rights were given to PTV Sports which aired all of the matches live.

The Haier Q8 T20 CUP 2015–2016 was the 12th season of the National T20 Cup in Pakistan, sponsored by Haier.The qualifying round of the event ran from September 1 to 5, 2015. Eight teams will participate in qualifying round. The Winner of both semi-finals of qualifying round shall make it to the main round.

It was the 20th season of the National T20 Cup, with the tournament starting from 24 November 2023 and the final being played on 10 December 2023. Sindh were the defending champions, winning the 2022-23 edition.
