As of 2021, the Kemayoran CBD consists of numerous four and five star hotels, restaurants, premium office towers, hospitals as well as shopping and entertainment centers. The BMW Stadium is expected to be completed by October 2021. This stadium will be the largest capacity retractable roof stadium in Asia and the second-largest retractable roof stadium by capacity in the world, behind AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Kemayoran is also home to the Jakarta Fair, the largest and longest fair in Southeast Asia that attracts more than 4 million visitors annually.

Pademangan

Pademangan is a subdistrict of North Jakarta, Indonesia. The area of Pademangan stretches from the Sunda Kelapa Harbor on the east to the western area of Tanjung Priok Harbor to the east. Pademangan also covers the area that was formerly known as Kemayoran Airport. Geographically, Pademangan is a low plain with average height of 75 centimeter above the sea level.

History of Jakarta

Jakarta is Indonesia's capital and largest city. Located on an estuary of the Ciliwung River, on the northwestern part of Java, the area has long sustained human settlement. Historical evidence from Jakarta dates back to the 4th century CE, when it was a Hindu settlement and port. The city has been sequentially claimed by the Indianized kingdom of Tarumanegara, the Hindu Kingdom of Sunda, the Muslim Sultanate of Banten, and by Dutch, Japanese and Indonesian administrations. Garuda Indonesia Flight 150 1975 aviation accident

Garuda Indonesia Airways Flight 150 was a scheduled Indonesian domestic passenger flight from Kemayoran Airport, Jakarta to Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport, Palembang. On September 24, 1975, Flight 150 crashed on approach due to poor weather and fog just 2.5 miles from the town of Palembang. The accident killed 25 out of the 61 passengers and crew on board, and one person on the ground.
