James Kembi Gitura is a Kenyan politician. He was a Deputy Speaker of the Kenyan Senate between 2013 and 2017.
Gitura represented the Kiharu Constituency in the National Assembly (Kenya) from 2003 to 2007. Subsequently,he was appointed as the Kenyan Ambassador to Belgium,serving from 2009 until his resignation in 2012 in order to stand for election to the Senate. [1]
After winning a seat in the Senate,Gitura was elected as the Deputy Speaker of the Senate on 28 March 2013. He received 39 votes. [2]
Gitura later lost his seat to Irungu Kang'ata in the 2017 Kenya general election [3] Consequently,Kembi Gitura was appointed the Chairperson of KEMSA where he led until 2021 when he was fired for an alleged scandal in procuring COVID-19 supplies. Gitura understands the political life of Kenya. He is currently chairperson of the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA).

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is an independent regulatory agency that was founded in the year 2011 through the making of the Constitution of Kenya. The Commission is responsible for conducting or supervising referendums and elections to any elective body or office established by the Constitution,and any other elections as prescribed by an Act of Parliament. It was created in a provision of the 2010 constitution and the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Act. Ferdinard Ndungu Waititu,also known as Baba Yao,is a Kenyan politician who served as the second governor of Kiambu County from 2016 to January 2020. He was impeached on corruption charges. His troubles started after it was learnt he was involved in a scheme of grabbing land from a widow worth over one million dollars amongst other fraudulent activities. He is currently awaiting trial for the mismanagement of county fund of over five million dollars. He also served as an assistant minister for Water Services and Irrigation in the government of Kenya.

Ekwee David Ethuro is a Kenyan politician. Currently is the Chairperson Higher Education Loans Board (HELB). He was elected as the first Speaker of the modern Kenyan Senate on 28 March 2013. From 1998 to 2013 he served as a Member of Parliament representing Turkana Central. He also served as the Assistant Minister for Planning and National Development from 1998 to 2002 under the government of President Daniel arap Moi. He was re-elected as Member of Parliament for Turkana Central in the 2007 general elections and steered the proceedings of the 10th Parliament in the position of acting Speaker of the House whenever the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker were absent.

Ndindi Nyoro,CBS,MP is a Kenyan politician,an economist and an entrepreneur,and currently the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kiharu Constituency serving a second term. Ndindi belongs to United Democratic Alliance (UDA),a political party under the Kenya Kwanza alliance led by the current and fifth president of Kenya,Dr William Ruto. He is a graduate of Kenyatta University with a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) and was a student leader at the same university.
