William Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is a Ghanaian politician who served as the 13th president of Ghana from 2017 to 2025. He previously served as Attorney General from 2001 to 2003 and as Minister for Foreign Affairs from 2003 to 2007 under the administration of then-president John Kufuor.

The Ghana Card is the national Identity card that is issued by the Ghanaian authorities to Ghanaian citizens –both resident and non-resident,legal and permanent residents of foreign nationals. It is proof of identity,citizenship and residence of the holder. The current version is in ID1 format and biometric. It is issued by the National Identification Authority of Ghana and Regarded as a property of the country as such. He was nominated by President Nana Akufo-Addo on 10 January 2017 and assumed office on 27 January 2017 as finance minister. On February 14,2024,he was relieved of his position as the finance minister of Ghana by Nana Akufo-Addo.

He is the Member of Parliament of Akim Abuakwa South constituency in the Eastern Region of Ghana. He serves on several Ghanaian boards including the director of Adehyeman Savings and Loans Company Ltd. He was appointed to the Council of State in February 2017.
Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie was a Ghanaian lawyer and politician. He held several political positions including serving as general secretary of the New Patriotic Party. He was serving as the chief executive officer of Forestry Commission of Ghana before his demise.
