Kessleria alpicella is a moth of the family Yponomeutidae. It is found in Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and most of the Balkan Peninsula. [1]
The length of the forewings is 7–9 mm for males and 7.3-7.6 mm for females. Adults are on wing from the end of May to the end of July. [2]
The larvae feed on Saxifraga paniculata and Saxifraga rotundifolia . They mine the leaves of their host plant. [3] They can be found in November.
