The Kia EV2 is a battery electric concept vehicle produced by Kia. It will be the sixth model in the manufacturer's "EV" electric car line-up after the EV4. It was introduced on 27 February 2025 alongside the EV4 and PV5. It slots below the EV3. [1]
The EV2 will be an electric subcompact SUV that slots under the EV3. It is similar to the Hyundai Inster in terms of size. [2] The EV2 will launch in early 2026 and will be produced in Žilina, Slovakia.
The concept model's rear doors open in the opposite direction from the front doors. The Star Map front lighting from the EV9 is also present on the concept. [3] Inside, there's a panoramic glass roof, color-coordinated headrest speakers, and a metal-accented dashboard housing a wide touchscreen. [4]
Kia has not provided any information about the powertrain. However, what is known is that the EV2 will be based on the E-GMP 400v architecture and use both LFP and NCM batteries. [5]
