The Monroe Avenue Commercial Buildings, also known as the Monroe Block, is a historic district located along a block-and-a-half stretch at 16-118 Monroe Avenue in Detroit, Michigan, just off Woodward Avenue at the northern end of Campus Martius. The district was designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1974 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. The thirteen original buildings were built between 1852 and 1911 and ranged from two to five stories in height. The National Theatre, built in 1911, is the oldest surviving theatre in Detroit, a part of the city's original theatre district of the late 19th century, and the sole surviving structure from the original Monroe Avenue Commercial Buildings historic period.
The J. Vivian Jr. and Company Building is a commercial building located at 342 Hecla Street in Laurium, Michigan. Constructed in the Italian Renaissance Revival and Italianate architectural styles, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.
The Odd Fellows Temple in Lexington, Kentucky, also known as Skullers Jewelry, Inc., was built in Second Empire and Italianate style between 1869–1870. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Clarkton Depot is a historic train station located at Clarkton, Bladen County, North Carolina. It was built as a passenger and freight station by the Seaboard Air Line Railroad in 1915. It is a one-story, rectangular frame building measuring 30 feet by 90 feet. The station served the SAL's daily passenger train from Wilmington to its Charlotte station in Charlotte via Hamlet and Monroe.
Franklin Pierce Tate House is a historic home located at Morganton, Burke County, North Carolina. It was designed by architect Electus D. Litchfield and completed in 1928. It is a two-story, Colonial Revival style dwelling constructed of irregularly-coursed, rock-faced granite blocks.
Baxter Clock is a historic street clock located in New Bern, North Carolina. It was manufactured in 1920 by the Seth Thomas Clock Company, and erected in 1930 opposite the front entrance of Baxter's Jewelry Store. The four-sided clock has brass and steel works contained in a spherical cast iron case which consists of three stages. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1973, but in 1977, an accident resulted in the broken clock being placed in storage for almost fourteen years. The Baxter Clock is thought to be one of three operating clocks of its kind remaining in the country.
Rural Hall Depot is a historic train station located at Rural Hall, Forsyth County, North Carolina. It was built in 1888 for the Cape Fear and Yadkin Valley Railway. It is a one-story rectangular frame building sheathed in German siding. It measures 23 feet wide and 78 feet long. The interior consists of waiting rooms for white and "colored" passengers and a station master's office. Passenger service ceased in 1955, but the depot continued to provide services and facilities to freight trains until its closing in 1980. The building was moved to its present site in March 1980, and serves as a local railroad museum.
Hayes-Byrum Store and House is a historic home, store, and national historic district located near Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. The store was built about 1890, and is a one-story, gable front, brick building. It measures 35 feet by 60 feet and has a wide, arched entrance with wooden double doors. North of the store is the two story, asymmetrical, Queen Anne style frame dwelling built about 1900. It has a cross-gable roof and features a cutaway bay. The store is considered the oldest surviving commercial building in rural Mecklenburg County.
Former Charlotte Coca-Cola Bottling Company Plant is a historic Coca-Cola bottling factory building located at Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. It was built in 1929–1930, and is a two-story, reinforced concrete building with a red brick veneer and decorative concrete detailing and Art Deco design elements. The building has a rectangular plan measuring 110 feet by 185 feet, parapet, and Coca-Cola bottles, sculpted of precast concrete, which crown the corner pilasters.
Former Nebel Knitting Mill is a historic textile mill building located at Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. It was designed by noted mill architect Richard C. Biberstein and built in 1927 and expanded in 1929. It is a two-story, reinforced concrete building with a brick veneer and decorative concrete detailing with Art Moderne detailing. The building has a rectangular plan measuring 204 feet across the facade and 182 feet deep. The 1927 portion has a stepped-parapet roofline with concrete coping, while the mill's 1929 part has concrete coping and a simple, crenelated roofline.
Taylor's Mill is a historic grist mill located near Middlesex, Nash County, North Carolina. The mill was built about 1850, and is a two-story, gable roofed frame building on a stone pier foundation. The mill measures approximately 30 feet wide by 40 feet long.
Carrboro Commercial Historic District is a national historic district located at Carrboro, Orange County, North Carolina. The district encompasses 12 contributing buildings in the central business district of Carrboro. The district's buildings date from about 1910 to the mid-1920s and are primarily one- and two-story brick commercial buildings. Notable buildings include the "Flatiron Building", Hearn's Grocery (1924), a Bank and Jewelry Store, the Miles Andrews House, Western Auto Store, and the building at 118-120 East Main Street.
US Naval Ordnance Testing Facility Assembly Building is a historic building located at Topsail Island, Pender County, North Carolina. It was built in 1946 by Kellex Corporation, and is a 1 1/2-story, reinforced concrete and concrete block building. It measures 75 feet by 82 feet and has a low-pitched, gable-front roof. The building was abandoned by the military in 1948 and subsequently used for commercial and recreational purposes. It was erected for the purpose of fabricating and storing missiles used in "Operation Bumblebee."
Falls of the Neuse Manufacturing Company, also known as the Manteo Manufacturing Company and Forest Manufacturing Company, is a historic paper mill complex located at Falls, Wake County, North Carolina. The main mill building was built from1854–1855, and is a three-story, quarried granite block building measuring 195 feet long and 54 feet wide. Located on the property is the stone mill dam, measuring about 400 feet wide and roughly 6 feet tall, and the one-story picker room, measuring 53 feet square. The mill operated as a paper mill until 1896, and later housed a cotton mill and warehouse.
Fuquay-Varina Woman's Club Clubhouse is a historic Woman's Club clubhouse located at Fuquay-Varina, Wake County, North Carolina. It was built in 1937, and is a one-story, "T"-shaped, Bungalow / American Craftsman influenced frame building. The building consists of a rectangular meeting room measuring 24 feet by 40 feet, and a 14 feet by 24 feet rear ell containing the kitchen, a small pantry and a bathroom.
Rink's Womens Apparel Store, also known as the Rink Building, is a historic commercial building located at Indianapolis, Indiana. It was built in 1910, and is a six-story, rectangular, steel frame building sheathed in clay tile and masonry. It measures approximately 120 feet by 70 feet and is four bays wide by seven long. It features large Chicago style window openings. The building housed the Rink's Womens Apparel Store, in operation until 1939.
