Langar^[1] (Persian : لنگر‎) is a village in Ghazi Rural District, Samalqan District, Maneh and Samalqan County, North Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 782, in 211 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Samalqan District is a district (bakhsh) in Maneh and Samalqan County, North Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 20,621, in 5,466 families. The District has two cities: Qazi & Shahrabad-e Khavar. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Almeh Rural District and Qazi Rural District.

Maneh and Samalqan County is a county in North Khorasan Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Ashkhaneh. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 91,884, in 23,040 families. The county has three districts: Central District, Maneh District, and Samalqan District. The county has four cities: Ashkhaneh, Pish Qaleh, Shahrabad-e Khavar and Qazi.
