The Lanka T10, also known as the Lanka T10 Super League, is a T10 cricket league in Sri Lanka owned by T Ten Sports Management. The league is organised by Sri Lanka Cricket in partnership with the Abu Dhabi T10 league, with the first season being played in December 2024.
Matches are played with 10-overs-a-side, with the duration of each match approximately 90 minutes. The tournament is played in a round-robin format with six teams competing. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]
In June 2023, Sri Lanka Cricket announced the launch of the eague, with both men's and women's tournaments proposed. The first season was scheduled to be played from 12 to 23 December 2023 in Colombo, but was postponed due to financial issues. [6] [7]
The first season of the men's league began on 12 December 2024 and was completed on 19 December 2024, with Hambantota Bangla Tigers defeating Jaffna Titans in the final at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy.
Six men's teams competed in the first season of the competition.

In the first season, each team played seven matches in the group stage. Seven of the 21 group-stage matches were abandoned without a ball being bowled due to poor weather, with another three unable to be completed for the same reason. Jaffna Tigers won all five of their completed matches, heading the group table, with Hambantota Bangla Tigers in second place with three wins. Galle Marvels and Kandy Bolts, the only two other sides to win at least one match, finished third and fourth in the group and qualified for the playoff stage of the competition. [8]
Galle defeated Kandy in the eliminator, before being defeated by Hambantota in the second qualifier. Jaffna had advanced to the final after defeating Hambantota in the first qualifier, but lost the final by 26 runs. [8]

SLC Super Provincial Twenty20, earlier known as SLC Inter-Provincial Twenty20, was a Twenty20 domestic Cricket competition in Sri Lanka held by Sri Lanka Cricket. It was one of three Inter-Provincial Cricket tournaments. Sri Lanka used to have a Twenty20 Tournament which was conducted from 2004 to 2008 and was held between the clubs in Sri Lanka. From 2008 to 2011 the Inter-Provincial Twenty20 became the mainstream domestic Twenty20 competition in Sri Lanka. Wayamba elevens has been in all finals and won the first three tournaments, while Ruhuna won the final tournament. It was replaced by the Sri Lanka Premier League in 2012, but later revived in 2016, as Super Fours Provincial T20 Tournament. but it was replaced by the SLC T20 League.
Pinnaduwage Chaturanga de Silva, or Chaturanga de Silva, is a Sri Lankan professional cricketer who represented his country at international level in limited overs cricket. He is primarily a left-handed batsman but bowls handy slow left-arm orthodox. He continues to play domestic and franchise cricket around the world. Chathuranga de Silva was educated at St. Aloysius College, Galle, where he started his cricket career. He is the elder brother of Sri Lankan All-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga de Silva.
Kariyawasam Indipalage Charith Asalanka is a Sri Lankan professional cricketer who currently serves as the captain of the national team in white-ball formats of T20I and ODI. He plays the limited overs formats of the game for the national team and is the 14th T20I captain of the Sri Lankan cricket team. An aggressive left-handed batsman and trusted batter in the number five middle order batting position, who bowls part time handy off spin. On pitches that favour spin, he has the potential to take useful wickets and contribute significantly as an all-rounder. Asalanka made his international debut for Sri Lanka in June 2021.
Wedagedara Sadeera Rashen Samarawickrama, popularly as Sadeera Samarawickrama, is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer who represents the national team in all formats of the game. He was part of Sri Lanka's squad for the 2014 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He is a past pupil of Thurstan College and St. Josephs College, Colombo,Sri Lanka.
Dhananjaya Maduranga de Silva is a Sri Lankan professional cricketer, who plays for Sri Lanka in all formats of the game and for Tamil Union in domestic cricket and current captain of the national team in Test cricket. In November 2017, he was named the Test batsman of the year for the 2016–17 season at Sri Lanka Cricket's annual awards.
Weerahandige Inol Avishka Fernando, commonly as Avishka Fernando, is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer, who currently plays limited over internationals for Sri Lanka national team. He plays for Colts Cricket Club in domestic cricket, and he made his international debut for the Sri Lanka cricket team in August 2016. He had his education in St. Sebastian's College, Moratuwa.
Pramod Madushan Liyanagamage is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer who currently plays Twenty20 internationals for the national team. He is a past pupil of Theraputta National School, Hambantota.
Koralegedera Nadeeja Ashen Bandara, known as Ashen Bandara, is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer who plays limited over internationals for Sri Lanka. He made his international debut for the Sri Lanka cricket team in March 2021. His fielding is exceptional and many times he has served as the substitute fielder for Sri Lanka cricket team.

The 2020 Lanka Premier League also known as My11Circle LPL T20, for sponsorship reasons, was the inaugural edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) Twenty20 franchise cricket tournament in Sri Lanka. Five teams based on various Sri Lankan cities played a total of 23 matches. It was originally scheduled to start in August but was rescheduled several times due to restrictions for the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Kandy Tuskers is a franchise cricket team which competed in inaugural season of Lanka Premier League in 2020. The team is based in Kandy, Central Province, Sri Lanka, and owned by Bollywood actor Sohail Khan. In the 2020 season, the team was under the captaincy of Kusal Perera and coached by Hashan Tillakaratne.
Dambulla Viiking is a franchise cricket team which competed in the inaugural season of Lanka Premier League (LPL). For the 2020 season, the team was captained by Dasun Shanaka and coached by Owais Shah. Based in Dambulla, Central Province, Sri Lanka, the team is owned by Bollywood film actor and producer Sachiin J. Joshi. In the inaugural season, it changed its name from Dambulla Hawks to Dambulla Lions, and ten days later again changed its name to Dambulla Viiking.
The 2021 Lanka Premier League also known as Wolf777 News LPL T20, for sponsorship reasons, was the second edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) Twenty20 franchise cricket tournament in Sri Lanka. It took place from 5 to 23 December 2021. There were plans to increase the number of teams from five to six, but Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) confirmed that five teams would take part, as per the first tournament.
The 2022 Lanka Premier League also known as Mazaplay LPL T20, for sponsorship reasons, was the third edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) Twenty20 franchise cricket tournament in Sri Lanka. It was originally scheduled to take place from 31 July to 21 August 2022 with Sri Lanka Cricket initially having promised to conduct LPL tournament targeting the August window. The ODI series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka were scrapped due to the hosting of this tournament. However, in July 2022, the tournament was postponed due to the economic crisis in Sri Lanka, with the aim to play it later in 2022. The tournament was later rescheduled and held from 6 to 23 December 2022. The tournament also emphasized to promote and boost both the economy and international tourism.
The 2024 Lanka Premier League was the fifth edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL), a Twenty20 franchise cricket tournament in Sri Lanka. The league was organized by the Sri Lanka Cricket. The tournament began on 1 July and the final was played on 21 July 2024. Five franchise teams took part in a double round-robin league followed by a playoffs. Kandy Falcons, formerly known as B-Love Kandy, were the defending champions.
The 2024 National Super League 4-Day Tournament is the ongoing season of the National Super League 4-Day Tournament, a first-class cricket competition being played in Sri Lanka. The tournament started on 18 January 2024 and the final match is scheduled to end on 3 May 2024. Five district cricket teams are taking part in the competition, organized by the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC). In January 2024, the SLC confirmed the fixtures for the tournament.

Traveen Mathew is a Sri Lankan cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm off break bowler. He was educated at St. Anthony's College, Kandy. He made his first-class debut for Panadura Sports Club in the 2023 Major League Tournament on 13 November 2023. He was included in the Sri Lanka squad for the 2021 ACC Under-19 Asia Cup, taking six wickets across five matches with an economy rate of 3.57.
