Las Vegas Mobsters is an American soccer team based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Founded in 2013, [1] the team plays in the Nevada Premier League, an affiliate of NISA Nation, the fifth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, in the Nevada Division. Their inaugural season was in 2014, competing in the Western Conference of the Premier Development League. [2] The Mobsters finished 4th in the Mountain Division their first season. [3]
In 2017, they joined the United Premier Soccer League before the Nevada Division folded halfway through its first season. The club went on hiatus until 2023, when the UPSL Regional Cup was established that summer.

Locals organized a Las Vegas Mobsters supporters group called the Mob Squad during the Mobsters inaugural season . [7] The Mob Squad evolved to the Electric Company in 2017 with the founding of the Las Vegas Lights.
In 2015 the members of the Mob Squad along with FC Tucson supporters Cactus Pricks, and Albuquerque Sol FC supporters the Sandianistas announced the Copa Frontera, an annual series with Las Vegas Mobsters, FC Tucson and Albuquerque Sol FC, all current PDL teams in the Western Conference's newly-formed Mountain Division. The club earning the most points in the 6 regular-season meetings is awarded The Copa Frontera Trophy for the following year. [8]

Burlingame Dragons FC was an American soccer club based in Burlingame, California. Founded in 2014, the team played in the Premier Development League (PDL). The team was owned by Nick Swinmurn, founder of Zappos.com and a minority investor in the NBA's Golden State Warriors, and David Ebersman, former CFO of Facebook and Genentech. The team played its home games at Burlingame High School stadium. They were the developmental affiliate of the San Jose Earthquakes of Major League Soccer.

The Michigan Bucks were the defending champions and posted the best overall record in the League; however, they were defeated by K-W United FC in the Central Conference finals. The 2016BYU Cougars men's soccerteam was a part of the BYU Athletics program, but they did not compete in a college conference. Instead, they participated in the 2016 USL Premier Development League (PDL). The team was led by first-year head coach Brandon Gilliam. Along with the arrival of a new coach, BYU made a divisional move from the Mountain Division of the PDL to the Central Pacific division.
