Lathrocordulia metallica is a species of dragonfly in the superfamily Libelluloidea, [3] known as the Western swiftwing. [4] It is a medium-sized, bronze to black coloured dragonfly without pale markings, [4] endemic to south-western Australia, [5] where it inhabits streams. [6]
