Let Me Be Clear debuted and peaked at number two on the ARIA Albums Chart and was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2016 ARIA Music Awards, but lost to Violent Soho's Waco .

Let Me Be Clear was preceded by one single: "Strange Diseases", released on 16 May 2016. [4]

Chart performance

Let Me Be Clear debuted and peaked at number 2 on the ARIA Albums Chart for the chart dated 8 August 2016, held off from the number one position by Human Nature's Gimme Some Lovin': Jukebox Vol II . [5]

The following week, the album fell 21 positions to number 23, [6] before halving its position in its third week of charting to land at number 46. [7] The album fell to number 76 in its fourth week, [8] before dropping out of the top 100 entirely a week later. [9]

The 74-minute rock album also contains three orchestral interludes composed by Le'aupepe.

Angel in Realtime is the third studio album by Australian alternative rock band Gang of Youths, released on 25 February 2022 through Mosy Recordings. Written over the four years following the death of frontman David Le'aupepe's father, the album lyrically focuses on the emotions that arise from mourning, coming to terms with loss, and discovering family identity in the Pacific Islands. It consistently uses vocal and instrumental samples from Indigenous musicians collected by explorer David Fanshawe, marking a significant sonic departure from their previous album, Go Farther in Lightness (2017).
