Lilies Handayani (born 15 April 1965 in Surabaya) is an Indonesian archer who won the first ever Olympic medal for Indonesia.
Together with Nurfitriyana Saiman and Kusuma Wardhani she won the silver medal in the team competition at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. Her career continued to soar until 2008 she stopped and focused on became a coach and managed the archery school she had pioneered before.
Lilies Handayani together with her husband Denny Trisyanto build an archery school named Lilies Handayani Srikandi Archery School (LHSAS). It is located in Surabaya.
Indonesia competed at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. The nation won its first ever Olympic medal. 29 competitors, 26 men and 3 women, took part in 32 events in 11 sports.
Nurfitriyana Saiman-Lantang is a retired Indonesian archer. Together with Lilies Handayani and Kusuma Wardhani she won a team silver medal at the 1988 Olympics, bringing the first ever Olympic medal to Indonesia. She also competed in the individual and team events at the 1992 and 1996 Olympics with the best individual result of ninth place in 1988. In the 1980s, Saiman won multiple medals in individual recurve events at the Southeast Asian Games. After retiring from competitions she worked as a coach and prepared the national archery team for the 2016 Olympics.

Greysia Polii is an Indonesian former badminton player specializing in doubles. She won gold medals in the women's doubles at the 2014 Asian Games, at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games and at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She also won three bronze medals at the World Championships in 2015, 2018, and 2019. Polii is a member of BWF Athletes' Commission to represent the needs and views of athletes to the BWF council and committees from 2013 to 2017 and 2021 to 2025.
Utami Dewi Kinard is a former world-class badminton player who was considered Indonesia's #1 women's singles player in the 1970s, and became the United States' #1 player in 1981, after marrying former 6 time U.S. men's singles champion, Chris Kinard. She is also the sister of 8 time All-England singles champion, Rudy Hartono.
Indonesia participated in the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics in Singapore with 14 athletes. The team competed in a total of seven sports: archery, badminton, cycling, swimming, taekwondo, tennis, and weightlifting. According to the head of the national contingent, Ade Lukman, athlete training was conducted by individual managers of each sport. All athletes were gathered in Jakarta on 6 August for a cultural training session.
Kusuma Wardhani is a retired Indonesian archer. Together with Nurfitriyana Saiman and Lilies Handayani she won a team silver medal at the 1988 Olympics, bringing the first ever Olympic medal to Indonesia. In the 1980s, Wardhani won multiple medals in individual recurve events at the Southeast Asian Games. After retiring from competitions she headed the Education, Youth and Sports Office of Bali.

She is the first female minister appointed to the post. She started her career at the badminton club PB Mutiara Cardinal in Bandung, West Java, and was called to the national team in 2013. She was the girl's singles champion at the 2017 World Junior Championships. Tunjung also captained the Indonesia women's team at the 2022 Asia Team Championships, where they became champions.
