Callum Knell, a sports coach aged 28, lives in Maidstone. He entered the house on Day 1. On Day 25, he was nominated for eviction and found out on Day 26, but he survived eviction on Day 30 after receiving the fewest votes to evict. Callum was then nominated for the second consecutive week on Day 33, although he survived this on Day 37. He was then nominated again after receiving the most nominations on Day 46 and found out on Day 47. He was evicted on Day 51 after receiving the most votes.

Charlie

Charlie Travers, (born 21 June 1986), [1] is aged 27 and lives in Berkhamsted. She entered the house on Day 2 alongside her mother Jackie however they will be competing individually. She was nominated for eviction on Day 25 but found out on Day 26, then on Day 27 she was saved from nomination by Dexter and Gina and joined them in the Safe House where she was able to watch the other housemates' every move. On Day 30 she returned to the Main House. After family and friends nominated on Day 54, Charlie faced eviction for the first time after previously being swapped with Jackie before the eviction in Week 4. She survived this eviction on Day 58. She was nominated for the second consecutive week on Day 61 during face-to-face nominations. She survived this eviction on Day 65 and had therefore earned a place in the final. On Day 68, Charlie left the house finishing in fifth place after receiving the fewest votes to win.

Daley

Daley Ojuederie (born 16 May 1985) [2] is a professional boxer, unbeaten in four fights, [2] who lives in London. He entered the house on Day 2. On Day 31, he and Hazel were voted into the Safe House. On Day 33, having never received one single eviction nomination, Daley was removed from the Big Brother house due to "threatening and aggressive behaviour towards Hazel," [3] in which he slapped Hazel on the backside, clasped her by the throat and pinned her to the bed, News of Daley's ejection was confirmed in a statement from Channel 5, which reads: "Due to threatening and aggressive behaviour towards Hazel, we have taken the decision to remove Daley from the Big Brother House." [4]

Daley is a friend of Tulisa [5] and has known her and her former N-Dubz bandmates Dappy and Fazer for years. [6] He used to write music with the popstar when he was a teenager. [7]

Dan

Daniel "Dan" Neal, an ex-police officer, lives in London. He entered the house on Day 2. On Day 19, Dan was nominated by his fellow housemates. Dan received his first formal warning on Day 22 after using threatening language whilst talking about Callum. [8] On Day 23, he survived the "double fake eviction". On Day 40, he was chosen by Sam and Sophie to live in the Safe House and be immune from eviction, but unknowingly this actually made him up for eviction. Dan was evicted on Day 44.

Ahead of his entry, Big Brother producers were warned about having the former police officer in the house as he had been heavily involved in investigations surrounding the Jimmy Savile allegations. [9]

In September 2014, it was confirmed that Dan had become engaged to Big Brother's Bit on the Side presenter Rylan Clark. [10] They were married on 7 November 2015. Claire Richards acted as bridesmaid. [11] It was announced Neal would join This Morning as a stand-in presenter alongside Rylan over the summer of 2016 being the first gay couple to present the show. [12]

Dexter

Dexter Koh, aged 28, lives in Liverpool, originally from Singapore. He entered the house on Day 1. On Day 5, he was nominated for eviction. On Day 7, he was saved from eviction by the viewers, having received the fewest votes to evict out of himself, Gina and Sallie. On Day 12, he received ten nominations, one from every single other housemate, equalling Big Brother 11 's Sunshine with the most nominations in a single week in any series and was therefore nominated for eviction for the second consecutive week, however he survived the eviction on Day 16. He was then nominated for the third time on Day 19 after receiving another 10 nominations face-to-face. In the early hours of Day 23, Dexter received a formal warning after using offensive and inappropriate sexual comments. [13]

In the late hours of Day 23, he was "fake evicted" as part of a twist and sent into the secret Safe House with Gina. They lived there in luxury watching the other housemates' every move. On Day 27, the Safe House was revealed to the house and both Dexter and Gina were given the power to change nominations. They chose to save Charlie and replace her with Jackie. Charlie then joined them in the Safe House. On Day 30, their time in the Safe House was over and they returned to the main house. On Day 33 he was nominated for eviction for the third time but survived the eviction on Day 37. Dexter found out he was nominated for the fifth time on Day 47, however he survived this on Day 51.

He found out he had been nominated for the sixth time on Day 54 after housemates' family and friends nominated him. He survived the eviction on Day 58. He was then nominated yet again during face-to-face nominations on Day 61. During a twist on Day 63, Dexter was given a pass to the final and therefore was saved from eviction. However, he had to choose someone to take his place. He chose Sophie, and as a result, she was nominated for eviction instead. On Day 68, Dexter left the house as runner-up.

Gina

Georgina "Gina" Rio aged 24, entered the house on Day 2. [14] Gina received her first formal warning in the early hours of Day 3 when she got involved in a heated argument with fellow housemate Sallie which culminated in her attempting to remove Sallie's beanie hat from her head. [15]

On Day 5, Gina was nominated for eviction. She survived eviction on Day 9 but then on Day 12, she found out she had been nominated for eviction for the second consecutive week, a move rather unpopular with her as she took to the Diary Room to lambaste her fellow housemates calling them, among other things, 'cocksuckers'. [16] However, on Day 14 she was saved from eviction after receiving the fewest votes. [17]

On Day 19, Gina was nominated for the third consecutive week and was "fake evicted" on Day 23. Although she left the house, she was sent into the secret Safe House with Dexter where they will live in luxury and watch the housemates every move. On Day 27, the Safe House was revealed to the house and both Gina and Dexter had the power to change nominations. They chose to save Charlie and replace her with Jackie. Charlie then moved into the Safe House with Gina and Dexter. On Day 30, they returned to the Main House. On Day 33, she was nominated for the third time. However she survived the eviction on Day 37. She finally left the house on Day 68 after finishing in third place.

Hazel

Hazel O'Sullivan (born 18 December 1988), [18] an Irish model, aged 24, lives in Dublin. She entered the house on Day 2. On Day 25 she was nominated for eviction and found out on Day 26. On Day 31, she was voted into the Safe House with Daley but on Day 33 after an incident where Daley used aggressive and threatening behaviour towards her, she returned to the Main House whilst Daley was removed from the whole house. She found out she had been nominated by her fellow housemates on Day 47. She survived this eviction on Day 51. Hazel was nominated again on Day 54, this time by friends and family of the housemates. She was evicted with the most votes on Day 58.

Hazel was in a relationship with professional boxer Darren Sutherland in the year he committed suicide. [19] Although Hazel often avoided conversations about him in the house, on Day 12 she got upset after Charlie asked her if his suicide was partially because of their relationship ending.

Jack and Joe

Jack and Joseph "Joe" Glenny (born 20 July 1994), [20] both aged 19, currently live in Cheshunt, and work in a Sainsbury's store. They are twins and competed as one housemate. They entered the house on Day 1. They were nominated on Day 33, but on Day 37 they survived the eviction. Jack and Joe then found out they were nominated again on Day 47. They were saved from eviction on Day 51 after receiving the fewest votes to evict. They were nominated for the third time on Day 54, this time by the housemates' friends and family. They survived eviction again on Day 58 however were nominated again face-to-face on Day 61. They survived this eviction on Day 65 after receiving the fewest votes to evict. This had earned them a place in the final. On Day 68, they left the house after finishing 4th.

Jackie

Jackie Travers, aged 59, lives in Berkhamsted. She entered the house on Day 2 with her daughter Charlie however they will be competing as two separate housemates. On Day 24, she temporarily left the house after falling and hurting her arm. She returned later that day announcing she had fractured a bone. On Day 27, Dexter and Gina chose to save Charlie from eviction and replace her with Jackie. She survived eviction on Day 30 but was nominated again on Day 33. On Day 37 she received the most votes and became the fourth housemate to be evicted.

Jemima

Jemima Slade, aged 41, lives in west London. She entered the house on Day 1.

On Day 4, Jemima received a formal warning from Big Brother after a conversation about the type of men she prefers. Upset by Jemima's comments, Gina told her fellow housemates she had just experienced racism causing an argument between them both. [21] On Day 12, Jemima was nominated for eviction and on Day 16 she became the second housemate to be evicted after receiving the most votes.

Sallie

Sallie Waterhouse, known as Sallie Axl, is a glamour model and DJ aged 26, lives on The Wirral. She entered the house on Day 1. On Day 5, the public chose to nominate Sallie for eviction; the "People's Puppet", Michael, cast the public's nominations on their behalf. After Dexter was saved, Sallie and Gina faced eviction and on Day 9 Sallie was subsequently the first housemate to be evicted. [22] Sallie decided not to go to the final due to an illness. [23]

Sallie previously auditioned for The X Factor in 2009, under her real name of Sallie Waterhouse. In March 2014, Sallie was involved in a Twitter spat with TOWIE's James Lock, over claims he cheated on his girlfriend, Danielle Armstrong, with her.

Sam

Sam Evans, aged 23, lives in Llanelli, and was born with 70-80% hearing loss. He entered the house on Day 1. On Day 37, his fellow housemates chose Sam to go into the Safe House with Sophie after being told whoever they choose would live in luxury and be immune from the next eviction. This however was a lie and Sam and Sophie had unknowingly put themselves up for eviction. On Day 40 they chose Dan to enter the Safe House with them unaware that he would actually face eviction with them. Sam learnt the truth on Day 44 and survived eviction. Sam was nominated for the first time by his fellow housemates on Day 61 during face-to-face nominations. Sam was saved from this eviction on Day 65 earning himself a place in the final. On Day 68, Sam was crowned the winner of the series.

Sam has also appeared on the game show Deal or No Deal. [24]

Sophie

Sophie Lawrence (born 11 July 1992), [25] a dental nurse aged 21, lives in East London. She entered the house on Day 1. Sophie was chosen to go into the Safe House with Sam on Day 37 by their fellow housemates after being told that whoever they choose would live in luxury and be immune from the next eviction. Unknowingly, this was a lie and meant that Sam and Sophie were automatically nominated for eviction. On Day 40 they chose Dan to enter the Safe House with them unaware that he would actually face eviction with them. She discovered the truth on Day 44 and survived eviction. Sophie was nominated for eviction on Day 54 after friends and family of the housemates nominated. She survived this eviction on Day 58. During a twist on Day 63, Dexter saved himself from eviction and won a pass to the final. He also chose Sophie to replace him, and as a result, she faced the penultimate eviction. She was evicted on Day 65.

Wolfy

Ainsley "Wolfy" Millington, [26] aged 20, lives in Falmouth but is from Bolton, Greater Manchester. She practices shamanism and is a qualified mackerel fisherwoman. She entered the house on Day 1. On Day 19 she was nominated but survived the "double fake eviction" on Day 23. On Day 25, she received the most nominations and was therefore nominated for eviction. She found this out on Day 26. On Day 30 she was evicted.

The People's Puppet

29-year-old Michael Dylan from Cork entered the House as "The People's Puppet", and was hired by Big Brother as a housemate that is controlled by the viewers. [27] Unlike every other housemate, Michael did not have genuine housemate status and is referred to as a non-housemate. Michael's true identity as "The People's Puppet" was revealed on Day 9, and he then left the house. [28]
