The following is a list and description of the bus routes of DART First State, which serves the state of Delaware. In 2023, the system had a ridership of 8,034,800, or about 30,700 per weekday as of the fourth quarter of 2023. Routes are divided based on their county of operation, with intercounty services running between counties.
DART First State does not operate any bus service on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. A Sunday schedule is operated on Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. [1]

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is a transit agency serving the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex of Texas. It operates buses, light rail, commuter rail, and high-occupancy vehicle lanes in Dallas and twelve of its suburbs. In 2023, the system had a ridership of 50,463,300, or about 166,900 per weekday as of the fourth quarter of 2023.
Pace is the suburban bus and regional paratransit division of the Regional Transportation Authority serving the Chicago metropolitan area. It was created in 1983 by the RTA Act, which established the formula that provides funding to the CTA, Metra, and Pace. The various agencies providing bus service in the Chicago suburbs were merged under the Suburban Bus Division, which rebranded as Pace in 1984. In 2022, Pace had 18.041 million riders.
The Interurban Transit Partnership, branded as The Rapid, is the public transit operator serving Grand Rapids, Michigan and its suburbs. In 2023, the system had a ridership of 6,239,500, or about 23,800 per weekday.
Embark is the public transit agency of the COTPA trust, the largest transit agency in the state of Oklahoma. Embark has 20 interconnecting bus routes covering the city of Oklahoma City and parts of the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area, including weekday Express service from Norman to Downtown Oklahoma City. Embark also operates paratransit, the Oklahoma City Streetcar, downtown public parking, bike share, and river ferry services. Additionally, Embark provides administrative and executive support for the Regional Transportation Authority of Central Oklahoma.
StarMetro is the city-owned and operated public bus service for Tallahassee, Florida, and was previously known as TalTran.
The Delaware Transit Corporation, operating as DART First State, is the only public transportation system that operates throughout the U.S. state of Delaware. DART First State provides local and inter-county bus service throughout the state and also funds commuter rail service along SEPTA Regional Rail's Wilmington/Newark Line serving the northern part of the state. The agency also operates statewide paratransit service for people with disabilities. DART First State is a subsidiary of the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT).
Birmingham-Jefferson County Transit Authority (BJCTA) is the public transportation operator in the city of Birmingham, Alabama. Created in 1972 to take over transit operations from private operators, it operates 109 buses on 38 routes. It also operates paratransit services, as well as micro transit services. In 2023, the system had 1,792,000 rides, or about 7,100 per weekday as of the fourth quarter of 2023.
The Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) is the transit authority that operates in Denton County, Texas. It operates transit service in three cities within Denton County, as well as the A-train, a regional commuter rail line to Carrollton. In 2023, the system had a ridership of 2,852,000, or about 12,100 per weekday as of the fourth quarter of 2023.
The Sangamon Mass Transit District (SMTD) is a regional mass transit district that mostly serves Springfield, Illinois along with a few neighboring communities. It is governed by a seven-member board of trustees, who are all appointed by the Sangamon County Board of Supervisors. In 2023, the system had a ridership of 1,406,900, or about 4,900 per weekday as of the fourth quarter of 2023.
Culver CityBus is a public transport agency operating in Culver City, California, currently serving Culver City, the unincorporated community of Marina del Rey, and the adjacent Los Angeles neighborhoods.
Torrance Transit is a transit agency primarily serving the South Bay region of Los Angeles County. In 2023, the system had a ridership of 1,868,200, or about 7,300 per weekday as of the fourth quarter of 2023.
VINE Transit is a public transportation service in Napa County, California, United States; it is managed under the Napa Valley Transportation Authority and operated by Transdev. The system offers extensive service throughout the county along with providing connections to other public transportation systems in adjacent counties. In 2023, the system had a ridership of 498,600, or about 1,800 per weekday as of the fourth quarter of 2023.
Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) operates mass transit service in Greater Des Moines. It is the largest public transit agency operating in the state of Iowa.
GTrans is a municipal transit agency that serves Gardena, California and surrounding Los Angeles County neighbourhoods. It was founded on January 15, 1940, as Gardena Municipal Bus Lines. On the agency's 75th anniversary, the agency was renamed as GTrans. The bus lines complement the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority's crosstown routes through the city. In 2023, the system had a ridership of 2,131,500, or about 8,900 per weekday as of the fourth quarter of 2023.
The Monterey Park Spirit Bus is the transportation service of Monterey Park, California, United States, providing local routes that serve the need of those commuting within the city itself or who plan on using the bus to connect with rail service to Los Angeles or surrounding suburbs. The bus lines complement the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority's crosstown routes through the city.
Mountain Metropolitan Transit is the public transportation operator for the metro area of Colorado Springs, Colorado, providing service to downtown Colorado Springs and surrounding areas within city limits and to the city of Manitou Springs, Widefield and Security. It has 27 local routes. In 2023, the system had a ridership of 2,991,300, or about 8,800 per weekday as of the fourth quarter of 2023.
Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) is the operator of public transportation in Knoxville, Tennessee. Twenty-five routes operate. Service on KAT routes operate weekdays and Saturdays with routes 11, 12, 20, 22, 23, 31, 33, 34 and 41 and 42 offering Sunday service. All routes, except for routes 13,16, 19, 44 and 90 start at the Knoxville Station in Downtown. The Knoxville Trolley is a free shuttle service which provides service to the university and the downtown area. KAT formerly operated the transit service for the University of Tennessee, known as The T. In 2023, the system had a ridership of 2,332,800, or about 8,100 per weekday as of the fourth quarter of 2023.
Connect Transit, formerly Bloomington-Normal Public Transit System until 2012, is the primary provider of mass transportation in Bloomington/Normal, Illinois. The system consists of 13 fixed routes, plus the Illinois State University Redbird Express, and two additional Express routes that operate on the busiest portions of the Lime and Red routes. In 2023, the system had a ridership of 2,254,400, or about 8,300 per weekday as of the fourth quarter of 2023.
Bucks County Transport (BCT) is a private, non-profit organization that operates transportation services in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Bucks County Transport is headquartered in Holicong, Pennsylvania, and operates bus services throughout Bucks County. The organization currently operates a shared ride program, three DART bus lines, and provides discounted transportation for participants of the Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP) and for disabled persons. In addition, Bucks County Transport operates TMA Bucks' Rushbus services.
Tulare County Area Transit (TCaT) was the county-operated bus agency providing service between cities and local community circulator routes in Tulare County, California; transit within the larger cities was provided by agencies operated by those communities, including Dinuba (DART), Porterville (Porterville Transit), Tulare (TIME), and Visalia (Visalia Transit); connections are provided to Delano (DART) in neighboring Kern County.
