Big Finish <i>Short Trips</i> Series of short story books based on the Doctor Who television series

The Big FinishShort Trips are a collection of short story anthologies published by Big Finish Productions based on the BBC Television series Doctor Who, beginning with the collection Short Trips: Zodiac in December 2002 and ending with the loss of their license in 2009. The Short Trips name was inherited from similar collections published by the BBC, who decided in March 2000 that it was no longer financially viable to produce collections of short stories. Big Finish Productions negotiated a licence to continue producing these collections, publishing them in smaller runs and in hardback, thus allowing for a higher cover price and increased profit margins than on the BBC collections.

Doctor Who Unbound is a series of audio plays produced by Big Finish Productions. Free from the constraints of continuity, the Doctor Who Unbound audios present a series of "What if...?" scenarios, and cast new actors in the role of the Doctor.

Scott Handcock is an English writer, director and producer who has been involved in a number of audio plays for Big Finish Productions. After sixteen years with the company, it was announced in 2022 that Handcock would leave his role at Big Finish and join television production company Bad Wolf as the script editor for the British science fiction TV series Doctor Who, beginning with the show's fourteenth series.

Anjli Mohindra is a Pakistani-English stage, screen and voice-over actress and writer. She is best known for playing aspiring journalist Rani Chandra in the Doctor Who spin-off series The Sarah Jane Adventures (2008–2011) and would-be suicide bomber Nadia Ali in the hit BBC One political thriller Bodyguard (2018). Her other television roles include Surgeon Lieutenant Tiffany Docherty in the BBC One police procedural Vigil (2021), Detective Constable Josie Chancellor in the ITV crime drama Dark Heart (2016–2018) and Archie in the Sky science fiction thriller The Lazarus Project (2022–present).

<i>Torchwood</i> (audio drama series)

Torchwood is a sci-fi audio series produced by Big Finish Productions based on the British television programme of the same name. Like the TV series, the dramas follow the exploits of the operatives who work for the Torchwood Institute – a fictional secret organisation that defends Earth against extraterrestrial threats.

The Eighth Doctor Adventures is a Big Finish Productions audio play series based on the British science fiction television programme Doctor Who. It sees the return of Paul McGann reprising his role as the Eighth Doctor from the 1996 television movie.

In 2012, Big Finish Productions began producing audio dramas featuring Doctor Who's fourth Doctor, as portrayed by Tom Baker. Baker had previously declined to feature in any Big Finish releases, but after recording a trilogy of full cast audio boxsets for BBC Audiobooks, he decided to participate. This was also part of a spin off series of the Monthly range.

The War Master, announced in June 2017, is a Big Finish Productions audio play series based on the TV show Doctor Who. It sees the return of Sir Derek Jacobi as the Master, a role he previously portrayed in the TV story "Utopia". The first volume consists of a four-CD box set; it was released in December 2017. In July 2018, a further 3 series were confirmed for release between December 2018 – December 2019.

The First Doctor Adventures is a Big Finish Productions audio play series based on the British television programme Doctor Who. It sees David Bradley and Stephen Noonan as the First Doctor, a role originated by William Hartnell from 1963 to 1966, as well as by Bradley on television in the episodes "The Doctor Falls", "Twice Upon a Time", and "The Power of the Doctor".

The Paternoster Gang is an audio play series from Big Finish Productions. Neve McIntosh, Catrin Stewart & Dan Starkey reprise their roles of Madame Vastra, Jenny Flint, and Strax respectively from the television series Doctor Who. It is executive produced by Jason Haigh-Ellery and Nicholas Briggs. Big Finish announced the series, in November 2018, comprising four volumes and produced in association with BBC Studios.

The Seventh Doctor Adventures is a Big Finish Productions audio play series based on the television series Doctor Who. It sees the return of Sylvester McCoy reprising his role as the Seventh Doctor.

The Sixth Doctor Adventures is a Big Finish Productions audio play series based on the television series Doctor Who. It sees the return of Colin Baker reprising his role as the Sixth Doctor.

The Fifth Doctor Adventures is a Big Finish Productions audio play series based on the television series Doctor Who. It sees the return of Peter Davison reprising his role as the Fifth Doctor.

The Second Doctor Adventures is a Big Finish Productions audio play series based on the television series Doctor Who. Michael Troughton, son of the original actor Patrick Troughton, voices the role of the Second Doctor.
