Dundee Football Club is a professional football club based in the city of Dundee, Scotland, founded in 1893. The team are nicknamed "The Dark Blues" or "The Dee". The club plays its home matches at Dens Park.
Ross County Football Club is a professional football club based in Dingwall, Scotland. The club currently play in the Scottish Premiership, being promoted after winning the Scottish Championship in the 2018–19 season.
Craig James Brown Brewster is a Scottish former professional footballer, turned coach. He made his name in a long playing career as a striker for numerous clubs in Scotland, particularly Forfar Athletic, Raith Rovers, Dundee United and Dunfermline Athletic. He also had a successful spell with Ionikos in Greece.
James Michael Nicholl is a Northern Irish former professional footballer who played for several clubs, including Manchester United and Rangers. He was mainly a right-back but could also play in other defensive roles. Nicholl won a total of 73 international caps for Northern Ireland, scoring one goal.
James Duffy is a Scottish football coach and former player, who was most recently the director of football at Scottish League Two club Clyde.
William Dodds is a Scottish football coach and former player who was most recently the manager of Scottish Championship club Inverness Caledonian Thistle and works with BBC Scotland match commentary these days.
James McIntyre is a Scottish football coach and former player who was most recently the manager of Arbroath.
Raymond McKinnon is a Scottish football player and coach.
James McPake is a professional football coach and former player, who was most recently the manager of Dunfermline Athletic. McPake played for Livingston, Greenock Morton, Coventry City, Hibernian and Dundee. He mainly played as a defender, although he started his career as a forward. McPake played once for Northern Ireland, in 2012.
Jimmy Boyle is a Scottish football player and coach who is currently the assistant manager of Cove Rangers. He is best known for the eight years he spent with the original Airdrieonians, and the manager of new Airdrieonians from 2010 to 2013. He played in two Scottish Cup Finals in his time with the original Airdrieonians.

Rangers were the defending champions and they retained the championship with three games to spare by winning 1–0 against Hibernian at Easter Road on 25 April. The competition began on 15 August 2009 and ended on 9 May 2010.

Jordan McGhee is a Scottish professional footballer who plays for Scottish Premiership club Dundee. He can play as either a defender, both as a centre-back and full back, or as a midfielder. He began his career at Heart of Midlothian and had a spell on loan at Middlesbrough. He then spent two years at Falkirk, and was team captain from January 2019 until his departure in the summer of that year.

Celtic claimed the league trophy back after an outstanding run with a 1–1 draw with Dundee United on 11 May enough to confirm them as champions.
