This is a list of Dundee F.C. managers and all those who have held the position of manager of the first team of Dundee, since its formation in 1893. The club have had 34 permanent managers, with Jocky Scott holding the position three times and both Sandy MacFarlane and Jim Duffy holding it twice.

Raymond McKinnon is a Scottish football player and coach, and is currently the manager of Forfar Athletic.

James McPake is a professional football coach and former player, who is currently the manager of Dunfermline Athletic. McPake played for Livingston, Greenock Morton, Coventry City, Hibernian and Dundee. He mainly played as a defender, although he started his career as a forward. McPake played once for Northern Ireland, in 2012.

Jimmy Boyle is a Scottish football player and coach who is currently the assistant manager of Cove Rangers. He is best known for the eight years he spent with the original Airdrieonians, and the manager of new Airdrieonians from 2010 to 2013. He played in two Scottish Cup Finals in his time with the original Airdrieonians.

The 2009–10 Scottish Premier League season was the twelfth season of the Scottish Premier League. Rangers were the defending champions and they retained the championship with three games to spare by winning 1–0 against Hibernian at Easter Road on 25 April. The competition began on 15 August 2009 and ended on 9 May 2010.

Gary David Bowyer is an English professional football coach and former player who was most recently the manager of Scottish club Dundee.

Jordan McGhee is a Scottish professional footballer who currently plays for Scottish Premiership club Dundee. He can play as either a defender, both as a centre-back and full back, or as a midfielder. He began his career at Heart of Midlothian and had a spell on loan at Middlesbrough. He then spent two years at Falkirk, and was team captain from January 2019 until his departure in the summer of that year.

The 2018–19 Scottish Premiership was the sixth season of the Scottish Premiership, the highest division of Scottish football. The fixtures were published on 15 June 2018 and the season began on 4 August 2018.

The 2018–19 season was Dundee's fifth consecutive season in the top flight of Scottish football since their promotion at the end of the 2013–14 season. Dundee also competed in the League Cup and the Scottish Cup. On 4 May, Dundee were automatically relegated to the Championship.

The 2021–22 Scottish Premiership was the ninth season of the Scottish Premiership, the highest division of Scottish football, and the 125th edition overall of the top national league competition, not including one cancelled due to World War II. Celtic claimed the league trophy back after an outstanding run with a 1–1 draw with Dundee United on 11 May enough to confirm them as champions.

The 2022–23 Scottish League One was the tenth season of Scottish League One, the third tier of Scottish football.

The 2022–23 Scottish Championship was the tenth season of the Scottish Championship, the second tier of Scottish football.
