This is a list of English football transfers for the 2003 summer transfer window. Only moves featuring at least one Premier League or First Division club are listed.

Contents

The summer transfer window opened on 1 July 2003, although a few transfers took place prior to that date. Players without a club may join one at any time, either during or in between transfer windows. Clubs below Premier League level may also sign players on loan at any time. If need be, clubs may sign a goalkeeper on an emergency loan, if all others are unavailable.

The 2018–19 season was West Ham United's seventh consecutive campaign in the Premier League since being promoted in the 2011–12 season. It was West Ham's 23rd Premier League campaign overall and their 61st top flight appearance in their 124th year in existence.

The 2019–20 season was Arsenal's 28th season in the Premier League, their 101st consecutive season in the top flight of English football and 110th season in the top flight overall. The club participated in the Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup and UEFA Europa League.

The 2020–21 season was Tottenham Hotspur's 29th season in the Premier League and 43rd successive season in the top division of the English football league system. After finishing in sixth place in the 2019–20 season, Tottenham entered the UEFA Europa League at the second qualifying round, reaching the last 16 in the competition before being eliminated by Dinamo Zagreb over two legs. In the FA Cup, Tottenham played three rounds, being knocked out by Everton in the fifth round.

The 2021–22 season was Tottenham Hotspur's 30th season in the Premier League, 44th successive season in the top division of the English football league system and 116th season in existence. After finishing in seventh place in the 2020–21 Premier League, Tottenham qualified for the play-off round of the newly formed UEFA Europa Conference League. At the end of June, Tottenham announced Nuno Espírito Santo as the new head coach on a two-year contract. Tottenham announced on 1 November 2021 that they had removed Nuno Espírito Santo along with his coaching staff Ian Cathro, Rui Barbosa and Antonio Dias stating they had "been relieved of their duties." Antonio Conte was appointed as Espírito Santo's successor the following day.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2022–23 Manchester City F.C. season</span> 128th Manchester City F.C. season

The 2022–23 season is the 128th season in the existence of Manchester City Football Club and their 21st consecutive season in the top flight of English football, where they are competing as two-time defending champions. In addition to the Premier League, Manchester City are also participating in this season's editions of the FA Cup, EFL Cup, Community Shield and UEFA Champions League, entering the latter for the 12th consecutive season. The season is unusual in that the fixture dates of domestic and European competitions were altered to accommodate the 2022 FIFA World Cup played in November and December 2022 in Qatar.

The 2022–23 season is the 148th season in the existence of Aston Villa Football Club and the club's fourth consecutive season in the Premier League. In addition to the league, they will also compete in the FA Cup and the EFL Cup. The season covers the period from 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023.
