The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) are Centrally Funded Business Schools for management offering undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and executive programmes along with some additional courses in the field of business administration. The establishment of IIMs was initiated by Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of India, based on the recommendation of the Planning Commission of India.

Indian Institute of Management Lucknow is a public business school in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was established in 1984 as the fourth Indian Institute of Management (IIM) by the Government of India. IIM Lucknow offers post-graduate diploma, fellowship and executive programs in management. It is recognised as an "Institution of Excellence" by India's Ministry of Human Resource Development. IIM Lucknow serves as the mentor institution for the newly established IIM Jammu, IIM Rohtak and IIM Kashipur. It also served as a mentor institute to IIM Sirmaur till 2018.

Indian Institute of Management Calcutta is a public business school located in Joka, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It was the first Indian Institute of Management to be established, and has been recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India in 2017. Programmes offered by IIM Calcutta include a two-year full-time MBA, a one-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma (PGPEX-VLM), a one-year full-time MBA for experienced executives (MBAEx), Doctor of Business Administration programme, a two-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics, and a one-year full-time programme in Healthcare Management. IIM Calcutta is one of only three triple accredited business schools in India, and the first to get the recognition. It is also the only business school in India which is a part of the CEMS Global Alliance in Management Education.

Indian Institute of Management Bangalore is a reputed business school and an Institute of National Importance located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Founded in 1973, it was chronologically the third in the first generation of IIMs to be established, after IIM Calcutta and IIM Ahmedabad, thereby forming the elite Indian B-School trio colloquially known as 'ABC', or 'IIM A/B/C'.

K. Radhakrishnan a.k.a. Koppillil Radhakrishnan is an Indian space scientist who headed the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) as Chairman of Space Commission, Secretary of the Department of Space, Government of India. Under his leadership, India became the first country to reach Mars in its first attempt.

The Indian Institute of Management Udaipur is a business school, located in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. As one of India's premier Indian Institutes of Management, the school has been accorded the status of an Institute of National Importance by the Ministry of Human Resources, Government of India. The school was established as an autonomous body in 2011 and offers a two-year full-time MBA program, one-year full-time postgraduate MBA programs, a Doctor of Business Administration program and other management development programs. It is one of the seven Indian Institutes of Management set up by the central government during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Ravi Subramanian</span> Indian author

Ravi Subramanian is an Indian author. A banker by profession, he has written popular thrillers about banking and bankers, including award winning trilogy The Incredible Banker, The Bankster and Bankerupt. An alumnus of IIM Bangalore, batch of 1993, Subramanian spent close to two decades in the financial services industry. After having worked with companies such as Citibank, HSBC and ANZ Grindlays, he is now the CEO of a listed Non-banking financial company.

N. Ravi or Neelakantan Ravi is an Indian diplomat. He was an officer of the Indian Foreign Service (IFS) from 1971 to 2009, and has served in various diplomatic and administrative positions in the Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Finance under the Government of India. In 2009, he was appointed as an ambassador of Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

Malavika Harita is an Indian executive who is the former CEO of advertising and communications company Saatchi & Saatchi Focus that has now been rechristened to Publicis Health & Publicis Business. She is also the president of Ad club of Bangalore.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Hasmukh Adhia</span> Indian banker and a civil servant

Hasmukh Adhia, IAS is an Indian banker and a retired civil servant. He is one of the key persons behind the architecture and roll-out of the Goods and Services Tax & Demonetization scheme announced in 2016. He is an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 1981 Gujarat cadre batch who served as Finance Secretary and Revenue Secretary of State. He previously served in several capacities for the Indian and Gujarat governments, including as Financial Services Secretary. He is the present Chairman of the boards of State public sector undertakings Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited (GACL) (GACL) and Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd(GMDC), GIFT City, standing committee of Pandit Deendayal Energy University, Gandhinagar and former Non-Executive Chairman of Bank of Baroda.A week after the government nominated him chairman of state-owned Bank of Baroda where he served till 29 February 2024 ,he was appointed as the Chancellor of Central University of Gujarat. Also, he serves as Chief Advisor to Gujarat Chief Minister in CMO from 2022 onwards.
