<span class="mw-page-title-main">Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad</span> Business school in India

Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, is an Indian business school, located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. As one of India's premier Indian Institutes of Management, the school has been accorded the status of an Institute of National Importance by the Ministry of Human Resources, Government of India in 2017. It is widely regarded as the leading business school in India, and one of the most prestigious business schools in the world.

The National Institutes of Technology (NITs) are centrally funded technical institutes under the ownership of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. They are governed by the National Institutes of Technology, Science Education, and Research Act, 2007, which declared them institutions of national importance and laid down their powers, duties, and framework for governance. The act lists 31 NITs. Each NIT is autonomous and linked to the others through a common council known as the Council of NITSER, which oversees their administration. All NITs are funded by the Government of India.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Indian Institute of Management Bangalore</span> Management school in India

Indian Institute of Management Bangalore is a reputed business school and an Institute of National Importance located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Founded in 1973, it was chronologically the third in the first generation of IIMs to be established, after IIM Calcutta and IIM Ahmedabad, thereby forming the elite Indian B-School trio colloquially known as 'ABC', or 'IIM A/B/C'.

St. Columba's School in Delhi, India, established in 1941, is one of the 12,000 English medium schools of its kind established by the Indian Province of the Congregation of Christian Brothers, which was founded by Edmund Ignatius Rice. The school's campus is located in the heart of Delhi and extends over a couple of acres. St. Columba's School alumni include three Rhodes Scholars, a Pulitzer Prize winner, and a Forbes 30 Under 30 awardee. Students are referred to as Columbans. The school admits only boys.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Rajendra Singh Pawar</span> Indian entrepreneur

Rajendra Singh Pawar is an Indian entrepreneur, chairman and co-founder of NIIT Limited, established in 1981. He also founded NIIT University, a not-for-profit university in Neemrana, Rajasthan, in 2009.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Vijay P. Bhatkar</span> Indian computer scientist

Vijay Pandurang Bhatkar is an Indian computer scientist, IT leader and educationalist. He is best known as the architect of India's national initiative in supercomputing where he led the development of Param supercomputers. He is a Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan, and Maharashtra Bhushan awardee. Indian computer magazine Dataquest placed him among the pioneers of India's IT industry. He was the founder and executive director of Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) and is currently working on developing exascale supercomputing for India.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">S. P. Kothari</span> Indian-American economist

Professor S. P. Kothari is an Indian-American academic and the Gordon Y Billard Professor of Accounting and Finance at the MIT Sloan School of Management and a Padma Shree awardee. His field of research is strategic and policy issues, securities regulation, auditing, and corporate governance.

Vijay Mahajan is the chief executive officer (CEO) of the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation and the director of the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Contemporary Studies.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Bakul Harshadrai Dholakia</span> Indian economist

Bakul Harshadrai Dholakia is the former Director of Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (2002–2007). Prior to that, he was the Dean at Ahmedabad (1998–2001) and a professor in Economics He was also the Director General of International Management Institute, New Delhi. Prior to joining IMI New Delhi, he was the Director of Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management and Gujarat Adani Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhuj.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Trilochan Sastry</span> Indian academic

Trilochan Sastry is the Chairman, Founder Member and Trustee of the Association for Democratic Reforms. He was formerly the Dean at Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore,, and now, he is a faculty in faculty member in the Decision Sciences Area there. He is also the Founder & Secretary of the Centre for Collective Development (CCD) and the Founder of Farmveda.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">C. Rangarajan</span> Indian politician and economist

Chakravarthi Rangarajan is an Indian economist, a former Member of Parliament and 19th governor of the Reserve Bank of India. He is the former chairman of the Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Council; he resigned the day the UPA lost power. He is also the Chairman of the Madras School of Economics; former president of the Indian Statistical Institute; the founding chairman of the CR Rao Advanced Institute of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science; former chancellor of the University of Hyderabad; and a professor in Ahmedabad University.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">B. S. Sahay</span>

Prof. B. S. Sahay is the Founder Director, Indian Institute of Management Jammu. He was the Founder Director of Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur, Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon and Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad. Sahay completed his BTech from BIT Sindri and received his MTech and PhD from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.

Srijan Pal Singh is an Indian author, public speaker and social entrepreneur. He was born in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Ashish Nanda</span>

Ashish Nanda is a business economist and professor who is the former Director of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA).

Prof. Rakesh Basant is an Indian economist and professor at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. He is the JSW Chair Professor of Innovation and Public Policy since October 2016. He was formerly a consultant with World Bank. Currently, he is the Dean, Alumni and External Relations at IIM Ahmedabad.

Srikant Datar is an Indian-American economist and the Dean of Harvard Business School. At Harvard, he concurrently serves as the Arthur Lowes Dickinson Professor of Business Administration.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Shri Ram College of Commerce</span> Undergraduate college for commerce and economics

Shri Ram College of Commerce or SRCC is an Indian higher education institution in the fields of commerce, economics and business management. A constituent college of the University of Delhi, it was founded in 1926 by philanthropist and industrialist Sir Shri Ram.
