This is an alphabetical list of cricketers who have played for Lightning since their founding in 2020. They first played in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, a 50 over competition that began in 2020. In 2021, the Twenty20 Charlotte Edwards Cup was added to the women's domestic structure in England. [1] [2]

Players' names are followed by the years in which they were active as a Lightning player. [3] Seasons given are first and last seasons; the player did not necessarily play in all the intervening seasons. Current players are shown as active to the latest season in which they played for the club. This list only includes players who appeared in at least one match for Lightning; players who were named in the team's squad for a season but did not play a match are not included.

Lightning (womens cricket) English womens cricket team

Lightning are a women's cricket team that represent the East Midlands region, one of eight regional hubs in English domestic women's cricket. They play their home matches at various grounds, including Trent Bridge and Grace Road. They are captained by Kathryn Bryce and coached by Chris Guest. The team carries over many elements of the WCSL team Loughborough Lightning, and maintain their partnership with Loughborough University. They also work alongside Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.

Lincolnshire Women cricket team

The Lincolnshire Women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic county of Lincolnshire. They play their home matches at various grounds across the county, and are captained by Rebecca Brooker. After joining the Women's County Championship in 2015, they competed in Division Three in the final season of the tournament in 2019. They have since competed in the Women's Twenty20 Cup. They are partnered with the East Midlands regional team, Lightning.

Evelyn Jones English cricketer

Evelyn Jones is an English cricketer who currently captains Central Sparks, as well as playing for Warwickshire, Birmingham Phoenix and Melbourne Renegades. She plays primarily as a left-handed opening batter, as well as bowling left-arm medium. She has previously played for Shropshire, Staffordshire and Lancashire, as well as for Loughborough Lightning and Lancashire Thunder in the Women's Cricket Super League, and New Zealand side Canterbury Magicians.

Bethan Louisa Ellis is an English cricketer who currently plays for Warwickshire and Lightning. She plays primarily as a right-arm medium bowler, as a well as a right-handed lower-order batter. She has previously played for Shropshire, Worcestershire and Derbyshire.

Lucy Florence Higham is an English cricketer who currently plays for Nottinghamshire and Lightning. She plays primarily as a right-arm off break bowler. She has previously played for Leicestershire, as well as for Loughborough Lightning in the Women's Cricket Super League and Trent Rockets in The Hundred.

Abigail Johanna Freeborn is an English cricketer who currently plays for Staffordshire, Central Sparks and Trent Rockets. She plays as a wicket-keeper and right-handed batter. She has previously played for Sussex, Yorkshire and Leicestershire, as well as Loughborough Lightning and Lightning in regional cricket.

Ria Ashleigh Fackrell is an English cricketer who currently plays for Warwickshire, Central Sparks and Birmingham Phoenix. She plays as a right-handed batter and right-arm off break bowler. She has previously played for Shropshire, Lancashire Thunder and Lightning.

Ilenia Elisa J "Lenny" Sims is an English cricketer who currently plays for Staffordshire and Lightning. She plays as a right-arm off break bowler.
