From their first match in 1922 to their final match in 1946, 63 players represented the Royal Air Force cricket team in first-class cricket. A first-class match is a domestic cricket match between two representative teams, each having first-class status, as determined by the governing body for cricket in the country where the match is being played. [1] First-class matches consist of matches of three or more days' duration, between two teams of eleven players, played on turf pitches. [1]

The Royal Air Force was formed during World War I in 1918, with the Royal Air Force cricket team being formed in 1919 and playing its first against the British Army cricket team at Lord's in the same year.

This list includes all players who have played at least one first-class match and is initially arranged in the order of debut appearance. Where more than one player won their first cap in the same match, those players are initially listed by batting order at the time of debut.

Australia national cricket team National sports team

The Australia men's national cricket team represents Australia in men's international cricket. As the joint oldest team in Test cricket history, playing in the first ever Test match in 1877, the team also plays One-Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket, participating in both the first ODI, against England in the 1970–71 season and the first T20I, against New Zealand in the 2004–05 season, winning both games. The Nigeria national cricket team is the men's team that represents the country of Nigeria in international cricket. Cricket has been played in the country since the late 19th century, and the national team played their first match in 1904, when a team representing the Lagos Colony played the Gold Coast Colony. The Nigeria Cricket Association has been an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 2002.

The Combined Services cricket team represents the British Armed Forces. The team played at first-class level in England for more than forty years in the mid-twentieth century. Their first first-class match was against Gentlemen of England at Lord's in 1920, while their last was against Oxford University at Aldershot in 1964. Combined Services have continued to play cricket thereafter, albeit at minor level.

The Royal Air Force cricket team is a cricket side representing the British Royal Air Force. The team played 11 first-class matches: nine between 1922 and 1932, mostly against other branches of the Services, and another two in 1945 and 1946. Their home ground is the Royal Air Force Sports Ground, Uxbridge.

Cyril Douglas Adams was an English cricketer and Royal Air Force (RAF) officer. Serving first as a soldier in the First World War, Adams joined the newly formed RAF in 1918, serving in the RAF for over 25 years. His career as a first-class cricketer with the Royal Air Force cricket team ran from 1928–1932, prior to that he had represented his native Dorset at minor counties level.

The 1988 Queen's Birthday Honours in New Zealand, celebrating the official birthday of Elizabeth II, were appointments made by the Queen in her right as Queen of New Zealand, on the advice of the New Zealand government, to various orders and honours to reward and highlight good works by New Zealanders. They were announced on 11 June 1988.
