Southern Brave were formed in 2019, and played their first Hundred match in the 2021 season of The Hundred against Trent Rockets for both the Men's side and the Women's side. Hundred matches are classed as Twenty20 matches and so have Twenty20 status or Women's Twenty20 status. Stafanie Roxann Taylor is a Jamaican cricketer who is a former captain of the West Indies women's cricket team. She has represented them over 250 times since her debut in 2008. A right-handed batter and off break bowler, Taylor was selected as the 2011 ICC Women's Cricketer of the Year – the first West Indian to receive the accolade. She was also the first woman to score 1,000 runs in ODIs for the West Indies. She plays domestic cricket for Jamaica and Guyana Amazon Warriors and has previously played for Auckland, Sydney Thunder, Adelaide Strikers, Western Storm, Southern Vipers, Southern Brave and Trailblazers.
Gaby Hollis Lewis is an Irish international cricketer who made her senior debut for the Irish national team in July 2014, aged only 13. She made her Twenty20 International (T20I) debut later in the year, becoming the youngest to play at that level. The International Cricket Council (ICC) named Lewis as one of the five breakout stars in women's cricket in 2018. She currently captains the Women's Super Series team Scorchers. In June 2022, at the age of 21, Lewis became the youngest player to captain the Ireland Women's team in international cricket.
Alexandra Hartley is an English former cricketer who played as a left-arm orthodox spin bowler. Between 2016 and 2019, she appeared in 28 One Day Internationals and four Twenty20 Internationals for England, and was part of the side that won the 2017 World Cup. She played domestic cricket for Lancashire, Middlesex, Surrey Stars, Lancashire Thunder, North West Thunder, Manchester Originals and Welsh Fire in England, as well as Tasmania and Hobart Hurricanes in Australia.

Both the men's side and the women's side play at the Rose Bowl, Hampshire.
Northern Superchargers are a franchise 100-ball cricket side based in the city of Leeds. The team represents the traditional areas of North East and Yorkshire in The Hundred competition, which first took place during the 2021 English and Welsh cricket season. Both the men's and women's side will play their home match at Headingley.

The team represents the historic counties of Surrey and Kent in the newly founded The Hundred competition, which took place for the first time during the 2021 English and Welsh cricket season. Both the men's side and the women's side plays at The Oval.

The team represents the historic counties of Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire in the newly founded The Hundred competition, which took place for the first time in the 2021 English and Welsh cricket season. Tara Gabriella Norris is an American cricketer who currently plays for Sussex, North West Thunder, London Spirit and Delhi Capitals. She plays as a left-arm medium bowler. She has previously played for Loughborough Lightning, Southern Vipers and Southern Brave.

An all-rounder, she is a right-handed batter and right-arm off break bowler. In 2021, Capsey was voted the inaugural PCA Women's Young Player of the Year. Capsey made her international debut for the England women's cricket team in July 2022.
