This is a list of famous and notable Mexican dubbing voice actors in alphabetical order by last names, where applicable. This would include persons who are known to a large number of people and is not based on the extent of their popularity. Neither is the list viewed from the context of the present. Their fame could be brief; what matters is that they were well known during the peak of their popularity.
In the Hispanic community the dubbed voices of famous film actors are remembered better and became widely recognizable (e.g. the Spanish voice of Homer Simpson from The Simpsons (translated as "Homero"), performed by Humberto Vélez, is one of the most famous in Latin America).[ citation needed ]
These actors often become stars in the science fiction or subgenre fandoms (such as anime fandom) and become guests in fan conventions.
Master Roshi, known in Japan as Kame Sennin as well as Muten Rōshi, is a fictional character in the Japanese manga series Dragon Ball and its anime adaptations created by Akira Toriyama.
Dragon Ball: Sleeping Princess in Devil's Castle is a 1987 Japanese animated fantasy martial arts adventure film and the second anime feature film based on the Dragon Ball manga by Akira Toriyama. It was originally released in Japan on July 18 at the "Toei Manga Matsuri" film festival as part of a quadruple feature along with the first Saint Seiya film and the film versions of Hikari Sentai Maskman and Choujinki Metalder. An English dub by Funimation was released in 1998. It was preceded by Dragon Ball: Curse of the Blood Rubies and followed by Dragon Ball: Mystical Adventure.
María del Socorro Patricia de la Campa Medina Acevedo del Limón, better known as Patricia Acevedo, is a Mexican actress and director. She was the voice of Sailor Moon in the Mexican/Latin American version, and is arguably among the most popular Usagi actresses. Her voice is easy to distinguish due to its gentle soprano tone, which remains even if she voices a colder or evil character.
Sabine Bohlmann is a German actress. She is the German voice of Lisa and Maggie Simpson on The Simpsons. She is most active in dubbing children's television. In the 1980s and 1990s, there was hardly any dubbed children's show, in which she was not to be heard at least as a "guest voice". Due to her very high and soft voice she is often used to dub young children and teenagers. Bohlmann also works as a writer, and has written six books.
Rosanelda Geraldina López Aguirre, best-known as Rossy Aguirre (born April 2, 1968, in Mexico City is a Mexican actress and dubbing director. Aguirre began voice work at the age of 5, following the career of her mother, Rosanelda, who was also an actress. Her specialities as voice actress are young women and young boys under the age of 16.
María Fernanda del Carmen Morales Ponce de León is a Mexican voice actress. Morales is most known for the voice of Saori Kido in Saint Seiya, Chip in Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers, Kimi Finster in Rugrats and All Grown Up!, and Sailor Venus in Sailor Moon among other works she has worked on.
