The following is a list of Singaporean electoral divisions from 1980 to 1984 that served as constituencies that elected Members of Parliament (MPs) to the 5th Parliament of Singapore in the 1980 Singaporean general elections. [1] The number of seats in Parliament had increased by 6 to 75 seats. Since the 1968 Singaporean general election, no opposition candidate had been elected into Parliament under the People's Action Party (PAP) government until the 1981 by-election in Anson. [2]

Kallang is a planning area and residential town located in the Central Region of Singapore.
Choa Chu Kang, alternatively spelt as Chua Chu Kang and often abbreviated as CCK, is a planning area and residential town located at the north-westernmost point of the West Region of Singapore. The town shares borders with Sungei Kadut to the north, Tengah to the southwest, Bukit Batok to the southeast, Bukit Panjang to the east and the Western Water Catchment to the west. Choa Chu Kang New Town is separated into two portions by the Kranji Expressway.
Bukit Merah, often abbreviated as Bt Merah, is a planning area and new town situated in the southernmost part of the Central Region of Singapore. The planning area borders Tanglin to the north, Queenstown to the west and the Downtown Core, Outram and Singapore River planning areas of the Central Area to the east. Bukit Merah also shares a maritime boundary with the Southern Islands planning area located beyond its southernmost point. Bukit Merah is the most populated planning area in the Central Region, and the 12th most populated planning area in the country overall, being home to more than 150,000 residents.
Bukit Merah Bus Interchange is a bus interchange located in the Bukit Merah Town Centre, along Bukit Merah Central in Bukit Merah, Singapore. The interchange serves the nearby residential estates of Telok Blangah and Bukit Purmei and also the commercial buildings in Bukit Merah Central. It is the only bus interchange in Singapore that does not have a direct link to an MRT station. However, several services link commuters to nearby MRT stations from the interchange. Services 5, 16 and 851 link the interchange to Tiong Bahru, Service 132 links to Redhill, while Service 176 links to Telok Blangah.
Eunos Bus Interchange is a bus interchange located in Geylang East, Singapore. It is located and built just outside Eunos MRT station. It is surrounded by Eunos Road 2, Eunos Crescent and Sims Avenue.
The West Coast Group Representation Constituency is a five-member Group Representation Constituency located in the western area of Singapore. The GRC is divided into five divisions and is a constituency held by the People's Action Party. The five divisions are Ayer Rajah-Gek Poh, West Coast, Boon Lay, Nanyang and Telok Blangah. West Coast GRC covers the areas of Ayer Rajah, Dover, Pasir Panjang, the south-western area, West Coast, Jurong, Jurong Island, Sentosa, Telok Blangah, Tuas and much of Singapore's southern & western territorial waters and offshore islands in the area.
