Alka Yagnik (born 20 March 1966 [1] in Kolkata, West Bengal, India) is an Indian singer who is ranked among the best Hindi playback singers of all time. She is a seven-time winner of the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer, a record tied with Asha Bhosle, and has done playback singing for over 1000 Indian films. [2] She has sung more than 20,000 songs in various Indian languages. [3]
Alka Yagnik has received numerous awards and nominations in her singing career, in addition to the awards listed below. She received the Filmfare award for Best Female Playback for three consecutive years from 2000 to 2002.

Alka Yagnik is an Indian playback singer who works predominantly in Hindi cinema. One of the most prominent singers of 90s era Bollywood, she has received several accolades, including two National Film Awards, two Bengal Film Journalists' Association Awards and a record seven Filmfare Awards for Best Female Playback Singer from a record of thirty-seven nominations.
Udit Narayan Jha is an Indian playback singer whose songs have been featured mainly in Hindi films. Khal Nayak (transl. Villain) is a 1993 Indian Hindi-language action crime film written, directed and produced by Subhash Ghai under Mukta Arts Ltd. The film stars Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff. The plot focuses on the escape and attempted capture of criminal Ballu (Dutt) by sub-Inspector Ram (Shroff) and his cop girlfriend Ganga (Dixit).
Dhadkan (transl. Heartbeat) is a 2000 Indian Hindi-language musical romantic drama directed by Dharmesh Darshan and produced by Ratan Jain. It stars Akshay Kumar, Shilpa Shetty, Suniel Shetty and Mahima Chaudhry in lead roles. Being inspired by the novel Wuthering Heights, it also features Sharmila Tagore, Parmeet Sethi, Kiran Kumar, Sushma Seth and Manjeet Kullar in supporting roles. The story follows, Anjali and Dev are in love with each other and plan to marry, but her family gets her married to Ram. Years later, Dev shows up to reunite with Anjali, however, she has fallen for Ram. The music was composed by Nadeem–Shravan.
