M.A. Kharafi & Sons is a private company based in Kuwait with a variety of commercial interests and revenues for 2006 estimated at $3.3 billion. The company was run by Nasser Al-Kharafi until his death in 2011. On 15 April 2006, the US doughnut retailer Krispy Kreme announced that M.A. Kharafi & Sons bought a 6.7 percent stake, or 4.13 million shares. Al-Kharafi is also a supplier and integrator to the newspaper industry in Kuwait. In 2011 the Kharafi family was listed at 77th position in Forbes magazine's list of the world's richest people.

The Benefit Company (TBC) is the local switch in the Kingdom of Bahrain handling ATM and POS transactions among other services. Established in 1997 with a special license from the Central Bank of Bahrain as "Provider of Ancillary Services to the Financial Sector", it is the only financial network of its kind in the country.

Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC. (IBBPLC.) is an Islamic banking company based in Bangladesh. It became incorporated on 13 March 1983 as a public limited company under the Companies Act 1913 and started operation on 30 March, the same year. IBBPLC maintains its own ATM Booths with a country-wide shared ATM network. IBBPLC has been the largest private banking network in Bangladesh. Ahli United Bank is a regional bank based in Bahrain. Its head office is situated at Manama and is the largest bank in Bahrain. It is present in 8 countries in the Middle East and United Kingdom. Ahli United bank's ordinary shares are listed on Bahrain Stock Exchange since August 2000 and the Kuwait Stock Exchange since June 2006.

Fahad Maziad Al Rajaan was a Kuwaiti banker. From 1992 to 2015, Fahad Al Rajaan served as Company Director of Ahli United Bank (UK) Plc.

Ahli United Bank of Kuwait (AUBK) is a traditional bank founded in 1971, providing retail, private and corporate banking services with headquarters in Safat, Kuwait City.
