Patna Bird Sanctuary is a protected area in Uttar Pradesh's Etah district encompassing a lentic lake that is an important wintering ground for migrating birds.. It is situated near a town Jalesar which is also known as Ghungroo Nagari or Bell City. It was founded in 1991 and covers an area of 1.09 km2 (0.42 sq mi). With a lake area of only 1 km2 (0.39 sq mi), it is the smallest bird sanctuary in Uttar Pradesh.
Singanallur Lake is a lake in Singanallur, Coimbatore, South India. It is spread over an area of 1.153 km2 (0.445 sq mi) and has an average depth of 4.25 m (13.9 ft). It is one of the 9 large lakes in the city.
The Sita Mata Wildlife Sanctuary is a wildlife sanctuary situated in Pratapgarh and Chittaurgarh districts of Rajasthan Rajasthan, India, declared as a protected forest area by the Government of Rajasthan Notification No. F 11 (9) Revenue/8/79, dated 2/11/1979. It is a dense forest, with an area of 422.95 square kilometers, which is about 40% of the total land area of the district. The land is undulating because of the confluence of three different formations — Malwa Plateau, the Vindhyachal Hills and Aravali mountain ranges.

Perumpillichira is a small village that comes under the Panchayat of Kumaramangalam in Idukki district in the Indian state of Kerala. The name ‘Perumpillichira’ comes from the name of a large water reservoir adjacent to a Hindu temple at the heart of the village. This temple is the center point of the village. Water from Perumpillichira reservoir flows to nearby paddy field throughout the year except in peak summer and it finally reaches the Thodupuzha river. This place is 70 km away from the largest city Cochin in the state of Kerala.
