List of cyclists at the 2016 Summer Olympics

This is a list of cyclists who competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The cyclists were competing in 18 cycling events in the disciplines: BMX, mountain biking, road cycling, and track cycling.

Belgium at the UCI Road World Championships is an overview of the Belgian results at the UCI Road World Championships. The Belgian competitors are selected by coaches of the Royal Belgian Cycling League. Cycling at the 2016 Summer Paralympics consisted of 50 events in two main disciplines, track cycling and road cycling. The venues were the Rio Olympic Velodrome for track cycling in the Barra Cluster, and the Flamengo Park for the road cycling disciplines in the Copacapana Cluster. Seventeen events were contested on the track, and 33 on the road.

Rebecca Petch is a New Zealand cyclist who competes in BMX Racing and track cycling. She competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics, in Women's BMX race. She was a silver medalist in the track in the team sprint at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The mixed team sprint C1–5 track cycling event at the 2020 Summer Paralympics took place at the Izu Velodrome, Japan. The C category is for cyclists with a physical impairment that prevents them from competing in able-bodied competition but still competes using a standard bicycle. 27 cyclist from 9 different nations participated in this event. The distance for this event will be 750m.
