Bart Jan-Baptist Marie Brentjens is a Dutch racing cyclist in mountain biking.
Cycling has been contested at every Summer Olympic Games since the birth of the modern Olympic movement at the 1896 Summer Olympics, at which a road race and five track events were held. Mountain bike racing entered the Olympic programme at the Atlanta Olympics, followed by BMX racing in 2008 and freestyle BMX in 2020. Before the 2020 Summer Olympics, all events were speed races, but the 2020 programme featured BMX freestyle for the first time.

Jacobus van Egmond was a Dutch track cyclist who competed at the 1932 Summer Olympics. He won a gold medal in the sprint and a silver in the 1000 m time trial; he finished fourth in the tandem, together with Bernard Leene.

The Vélodrome de Vincennes track was a 500-metre (1,640 ft) loop. The event was won by Lucien Michard of France, the nation's third victory in the men's sprint. His teammate Jean Cugnot earned bronze. Jacob Meijer of the Netherlands took silver, putting the Dutch team on the podium for the second consecutive Games.

Dutch athletes have competed in every Summer Olympic Games, with the exception of the sparsely attended 1904 Summer Olympics in St. Louis and 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, which the Netherlands boycotted because of the Soviet invasion of Hungary. The Netherlands National Olympic Committee sent the nation's smallest delegation to the Games since 1988. A total of 175 athletes, 95 men and 80 women, competed in 18 sports.

She competed at the 2020 Summer Paralympics, in Women's individual class 7, winning a gold medal, and in Women's road time trial H4–5 winning a bronze medal.
The men's track time trial, a part of the cycling events at the 1928 Summer Olympics, took place at the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam. Sixteen cyclists from 16 nations competed. Each nation was limited to one competitor. The distance was 1 kilometre. The race was won by the Danish rider Willy Hansen in 1 minutes, 14.4 seconds. Gerard Bosch van Drakestein of the Netherlands took silver, while Dunc Gray of Australia earned bronze. It was the first medal for each of the three nations in the men's track time trial; none had competed in 1896.

The event was won by Roger Beaufrand of France, the nation's second consecutive and fourth overall victory in the men's sprint. Antoine Mazairac of the Netherlands, the only other nation to have won a gold medal in the event, put the Dutch team on the podium for the third consecutive Games with his silver. Willy Hansen earned Denmark's first medal in the event, with his bronze.
Laura Smulders is a Dutch racing cyclist who represents the Netherlands in BMX. She competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the women's BMX event where she won the bronze medal.
Dorotheus Magdalenus "Dorus" Nijland was a Dutch track and road racing cyclist. Nijland was a sprinter. He was an amateur cyclist and later Nijland became a professional cyclist (1913–1915) and continued cycling as a master. His total career was between 1905 and 1935. He won over a hundred prizes, and competed at the 1908 Summer Olympics.
The men's sprint cycling event at the 1936 Summer Olympics took place on 6 and 7 August and was one of six events at the 1936 Olympics. There were 20 competitors from 20 nations, with each nation limited to one cyclist. The event was won, in a disputed final, by Toni Merkens of Germany, the nation's first medal in the men's sprint. Arie van Vliet took the silver medal, the fifth consecutive Games that a Dutch cyclist had finished in the top two. Louis Chaillot of France became the first man to win multiple medals in the event, adding a bronze to his 1932 silver; it was the fourth consecutive podium appearance for France.
Richard Cornelis Jacobus Rozendaal is a Dutch former track cyclist who competed for the Netherlands at the 1996 Summer Olympics. Born in Warmenhuizen, Rozendaal won three Dutch national championship: two in the points race event and the 1997 individual pursuit. He competed in the men's team pursuit together with Robert Slippens, Jarich Bakker and Peter Schep. In the qualifying round of the event, the Dutch team finished 12th with a time of 4:16.175, and did not qualify for the quarter-finals.
Neil Martin is a British former cyclist. He competed at the 1980 Summer Olympics and the 1984 Summer Olympics. He now works as a team manager for under-23 cyclists within Cycling Ireland's High Performance Unit.
Roy van den Berg is a Dutch track cyclist, who most recently rode for UCI Track Team BEAT Cycling Club. He was a part of a team that won the gold medal at the 2020 Summer olympics in the team sprint event, setting the new Olympic record in the finals. He also competed at the UCI Track Cycling World Championships in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2019 and 2020 and won the silver medal at the 2016 UEC European Track Championships in the sprint.
Harrie Lavreysen is a Dutch track cyclist who competes in sprint events. He is five-time Olympic gold medalist, having won the sprint and team sprint event at the 2020 Summer Olympics, and adding the sprint, the team sprint and the keirin titles at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Lavreysen also competed at the 2016 UEC European Track Championships in the team sprint event. He has won thirteen world championship titles, including five titles in the team sprint, five consecutive titles in the individual sprint (2019–2023), as well as three in the keirin (2020–2022).
Cora Westland is a Dutch former cyclist. She competed in the women's individual road race at the 1988 Summer Olympics.
